My current favorite family night game. Glad you corrected the "potion blows at 8, not 7" at 12:05, and this game needs at least the herb witch expansion if not both the witches and the Alchemists. Play 1-2 games, add Witches, play 2 more games, add Alchemists. Great game. Having access to the kickstarter version with the mylar chips is a great investment. The hardest part of this game is NOT losing pieces because they don't give you many extras.

You are way into this game! Which I get, because the one time I’ve played it so far, it was very playable! The backs of the book tiles also have alternate rules for the different ingredients iirc.

Beej oil is not what is sounds like, rather it is like engine oil in that it is a mysterious little-understood substance that keeps Beej running smoothly. It is incidentally also the best way to make Beej smile.
