Filling the quail waterers daily, if not twice a day, has been a pain for us here on the farm, but these new automatic quail waterers might just change that chore.

-------
The quail's watering system has just been a pain and time consuming, & i have been wanting to come up with a solution and maybe install some type of automatic waterers for the quail, and so I started to search automatic quail watering system or automatic poultry waterers that might work for quail, and I came across these automatic waterers that were just for quail, and they are from GQF, which is a great company we have dealt with before. They are actually where all our incubators came from. I ordered triple waterer and installed it original on a five gallon bucket, but changed my mind and went with something a little bigger, and did a fifteen gallon barrel and low and behold, it worked perfectly.
Now this will give our quail more water to drink, plus save us a ton of time on the farm chores, because less time filling up the Georgia giant bobwhite quail's water, and also this will be a lot less stress on the bobwhites, because we are not going inside the flight pen to get the waterers every day.

Jason, just wanted you to know that I so much look forward to your videos. I have learned so much about chickens and birds. You have one VERY intelligent daughter that is for sure. I know you both are very proud of her. I wish my hubby and I were young again,we would love to follow in your footsteps. But we will just enjoy watching your large farm family.

Wow...I can’t believe how great your garden looks!!! My garden is growing but it’s growing very slowly. I saw my first squash, a small green pepper and a couple of small tomatoes. Nothing else has veggies on it yet. I am afraid they are all gonna bloom at the same time and I will be overwhelmed with too much at one time. We are in East Tennessee so our bloom time is a little behind you guys. Soon I hope cause I am ready for the canning to begin !!! Hope you guys have a great week!!!

A little diced onion, cut up a tomato, cut up 3 smaller squash, I like one zucchini, one crookneck and one patti pan, gently cook in your favorite oil in fry pan, garlic, salt, pepper and toss in a bit of sweet basil or some herbs de provence, and YUM. I have it with an Italian sausage, but its a nice side for whatever. and easy. chop it up and cook gently!

I thought of MC yesterday when I came across a video titled, "Chicken breeds you won't believe actually exist" on a channel called "4 Ever Green". There are some breeds that she already has, and some that are mostly bred for shows. But, WOW, some of those chickens were absolutely beautiful!! Check it out if you're interested, or maybe you've already seen it! Your garden looks great! Happy eating. Have you ever stuffed your squash? I've done it with zucchini, but not with yellow squash. I mix onion, garlic, chopped meat, mushrooms, seasonings( to taste), and saute all together. Add some grated cheese and set aside. Take your zucchini ( or squash) and either slice them the long way and remove the middle part and save. Now you have a hollow shell. Take the seed mixture and mix with cooked filling and fill the shell. Place in baking dish and top with more cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for about 25 - 30 minutes or until done. Cover for the first 15 minutes then uncover until brown and tender! You can also hollow out the zucchini like a pineapple ( like a tube) and then stuff them that way. Either way they are delicious!! Stay well, happy gardening, and God Bless.

One summer in HS my boyfriend invited me to make a few dollars & throw hay with him & a few others in the FL heat. Nothing screams romantic like a sweaty, stinky, covered in fire ant bites & hay date, right?! Lawd I've never worked so hard in my life! I had muscles sore in areas I didn't even know I had muscles! Needless to say, it was my one & only time throwing hay.. and decided dinner & a movie was more my preference! 😂

I would like to suggest your family getting "Scott's a scream!" decals would be cool. Oh course, should say "Cog Hill Family Farm" in small print under it. I am thinking of the 50's-60's where people would scream for Movie Stars and famous Bands like "The Beatles"... He is so beautiful and drives you crazy with his scream but I like to hear it. Adds flavor (figuratively not literally) to the show. Love all of you and Jason and Brooke inspire me. I have mobility issues and health problems but every time I watch your show, it gives me the extra I need to get out there and get things done. You guys are great parents and the world needs more like you.

Water pressure in the hose is a function of the elevation of the water (not the quantity of water). If you raise the barrel/bucket higher you will get more pressure. It doesn't matter if it is a 30gal barrel or a 5 gal bucket. Just place the barrel on a higher table .
