The Quality or Condition
This piece is inspired by David Behrman and his technique in reprocessing sounds live. I sampled Jon Doyles’s clarinet and Mike St Clair’s trombone performances in real time and reprocessed the sounds through my pedal board to create a new piece of music.
At almost 20 minutes in length the piece is perfect for yoga or meditation.
The video is sourced from early Avant Garde films including 1940’s film maker / choreographer Maya Deren’s At Land.
