I got mine this week. I’m not disappointed. Method is genius and it’s a self working trick in a specific range of cards. If audience ask an out of range position, there are easy moviments you have to do. Resets instantly in front of audience and they can’t tell. It can be examined by audience but I would not recommend.

Adam Wilbur would not be fooled after 3 seconds of handling the deck. Trailer is a shenanigan!

With the special set up and as the method would still not be clear I disagree
@cardmaster762 жыл бұрын
@@deceiverealityireland The special set up would still have the chemical. Even if it's in a smaller amount it would still be detectable by an experienced magician. I made my own deck starting with a small amount and it made the counting more difficult to pull off. Not worth the risk. The version for layperson works best. Trailer is a shenanigan!

Fair review, I disagree with the 100% examinable, and don't see the need for refills, but overall I agree with much more than not.
@deceiverealityireland2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment. I see refills as when using it as a forcing deck you might want different versions eg Places, Celebrities, etc. Also if you are using any deck a lot and allowing spectators to freely handle it I would want to update mine semi regularly. Also as taught in the instructions it can be a great give away to a client if you make a custom effect just for them. Thanks again for watching the review and glad you enjoyed it 🙂

@@deceiverealityireland Fair enough, perhaps it's just the Scotsman in me coming out, but if I can make something that's just as good as the commercial version for a fraction of the price I will LOL And despite what Craig claims in the tutorial, you can do it very well yourself (he also says something else about ‘the method’ which is incorrect, but I’ll not go into that here to avoid exposure).

Good review. It's not difficult to do, and is a fooler. It can be handed out to a non-magician. Even if they catch on to something they won't know how it was involved. I also have The Phantom Deck on order. There is a similarity to the Quantum Deck, but one has blank cards and one has clear cards. I think you could do the Quantum Deck first and come back to the Phantom deck as "Let's try something with a extra kick." Take a look at the trailer for the Phantom Deck and post an idea as to how you might incorporate both.
@deceiverealityireland2 жыл бұрын
Something you could do is use the phantom deck normally like an Omni deck and then say you will fix the cards but instead of all the cards coming back to normal they become blank cards, then have them say a number and their card is the only one to truly fix itself at that number.
@artderfall2 жыл бұрын
@@deceiverealityireland Thanks for the idea. I was thinking of the Quantum first and the Phantom second. I'll think about it after I get the Phantom, but your suggestion is good.

All trailers try to have selling points. The trailer for QD was terribly misleading as Craig used famous magicians' reaction to sell the QD. Craig: “If you were here, you could examine them.” Adam: “And that deck really is examinable?” Craig: “It’s examinable.[…] It’s genuinely just a double-blank deck of cards.” Well, it's not. It's got stuff on it. Adam was fooled by Craig's dishonesty so Adam's reaction is not reliable. But hey, it helped with sales.

I have comfortably left people examine the deck and they found nothing
@charmanderdefender92472 жыл бұрын
@@deceiverealityireland That's not the point. It is examinable. But to make us believe that it could fool magicians such as Adam Wilbur was misleading. We expected an innovative gimmick. Just imagine if Craig had told Adam "It's examinable by laymen, not magicians." That would have been more honest. Less people would have taken the plunge. Now, imagine how Adam and other magicians on this trailer feel. Exploited to say the least.

@@deceiverealityireland As you know, Craig explains how to remove some of the "secret" to fool magicians. Just because it fooled a magician who didn't take his time to inspect the deck carefully does not mean that the Quantum Deck would fool magicians. In the trailer, he tells a magician that he could examine the deck. Based on that, a lot of magicians purchased the Quantum Deck as they expected an original method. Once you are set on liking a trick, the "trailer deception" becomes irrelevant to you. So I don't expect you to understand...
@deceiverealityireland2 жыл бұрын
I was not set on liking this trick, I am skeptical of everything I buy but based on the instructions provided I feel confident that I can do everything mentioned in the trailer. If you don't after watching the instructions that is fine but all a trailer can do is show how the creator uses the prop and Craig gives the decks away and allows magicians to examine the deck therefore it's not dishonest. For example, I don't think I could do a watch steal without someone noticing but a product selling how to do a watch steal isn't dishonest because after watching it I don't feel that I could do it without being caught. If you still feel that the trailer was dishonest that's fine but I would recommend performing this trick as I have been getting great reactions from it 🙂

@@deceiverealityireland You recommend performing this trick? I recommend performing Asi Wind's ACAAN or John Born's ACAAN. In all seriousness, that's not the point!! As I said, I don't expect you to understand.
