Couldn't help but stay locked in and take notes from the start. Parking seems like a fun drive around if it's your 1st time on that block. The mayor and his wife owning a shop on the corner seems like good luck for both them and the Quarter Drop. Love the s/o to Neato @ the Opal, glad you both became friends. Such a talented artist. I still think doing some trade-outs with The Grove for 21+ after hours gaming would be a solid move. I love the Sega text for "ARCADE" on your side. Furthermore, your Golden Quarter should def be a huge promotion because it's very unique to you and a reason for ppl to come drop more. I hope you throw some surprise ones in your quarter machine. I'd suggest putting the plushies together based on brand. The popcorn machine needs an obligatory napkin / sanitizer nearby, or specifically at that wall table. The Name That Song is a great idea to reward repeat players come together as a community. But arcade life also thrived during the 90's and 2000's as much as the 80's. I'd love to try my luck at differently themed decades. The Atari combo with trackball is an absolute gem. Shinobi is also a good one, but PLEASE set it to an easier difficulty or lenient credit cost cuz it's quite difficult. In my experience, Area 51 is so good and popular that you need to care for it more often than other. Don't let it go down. Your carpet is absolutely stunning. Be proud of it. Speaking from experience, an awning would be a good idea to fight the elements for both customers' shoes and sun fading alike. An extended one with a dedicated might be a good idea because ppl who smoke are gonna smoke outside anyway. As for the merch, implementing a redemption system with your Golden Quarters to redeem them would be essential for bringing back regulars and having influencers spending a lot to get that gold. That being said, ALL of your redeemables like the football capsules should have a Golden Quarter to get ppl hyped. All of your custom photoshop edits and detailing works like a champ. I love the way the birthday party "room" is themed with balloons and Pac streamers. $250 for 200 quarters and the red carpet for a birthday celebration is a STEAL! You should play with the thought of $300 if $250 doesn't work for you. Very possible not all the quarters go back into your machines. I'd like to add to your retro game pricing, $50 a party of 4, for a couple hours. Retro gamers love to do throwbacks in droves together. The Xenomorph easter egg is perfect for fans of the series. You should really get Neato to paint a Boo or Piranhna Plant on the automatic paper towel dispenser. Looking at your last walkthru, you definitely need a dimmer or mild tint because the front games' screens have quite some glare. Thanks for the video dude. Can't wait to see the next step and / or opening day.

Been watching since this channel had 50-100 subs. Really cool to see it all come together. I can’t imagine I’ll ever get out to Oregon any time soon but if I somehow do I’d make this priority. Also, I wouldn’t think the plushy toys would have enough time to fade, but maybe just rotate them around occasionally if it is an issue.

Well done - been watching for a while (UK arcade engineer), the sun fade yes perhaps half the window covered in vinyl with a crane cabinet bottom half to stop fade on the toys... then in the other window just keep rotating the look.

The place looks absolutely incredible! I am sure you already looked this up, but ultraviolet rays are what cause the color fade. You can apply ultraviolet film to the glass, which will filter out the UV rays, eliminating the color fade.

As I lay here unable to move at least I can watch someone else do what I want to do. Play more games! FYI - I didn't notice any other signs about the QuarterDrop Arcade grand opening in the other local business windows. Power up with the local businesses and advertise for eachother building eachothers awerness. Maybe even have promotions for shopping local. I'm sure you already thought of this but I have to admit that I love seeing all the hard work coming to fruition.

Wait... I'm just realizing, if the $250 birthday bundle, comes with $200 in quarters for the party... and a free plush and t-shirt. So the only cost is just the decorations, the plush, and the shirt. He used to take me every Saturday to the arcade when I was a little kid in the 1980's. He was a huge O.G. gamer... RBI baseball, Super Punch Out! and Ikari Warriors.

Looks great. Nice thing is you still have room in the middle isle and in the back for a few more games later. If you ever find one in the wild a dance dance game or donkey kong or guitar hero arcade could do well. For the window with the Plushes maybe a tarp above that window to block the sun? As for the neo geo eclectic starship and others say bust of move is one of their most played games in fact starship says bust a move won't ever be replaced! Hope you do well as we need more arcades!

there are uv resistant films you can get to put on windows that dont have any tint. also as far as tint goes long as t he lighting on the inside is brighter thten the outside tint doesnt realy matter unless its is one way mirroring
