Don't mistake this with a R5 turbo. This is a SUPER5 not a R5. More recent , body frame very different. They look alike but no the same. R5 stopped being produced in 1985. TBH slim isn't even the proper word to use about your chances to get one. I'm french, I gave up on that dream. We can barely see one once in a while each year here. Beside that, props to that build, but it's not as charming as an original R5 turbo 2 to me.

When I was around 14yrs old a fella in my town had one of gt turbos it was a stunning two tone pearl white with red flashes . It was a complete rebuild from the frame up . Engine was tuned to the moon . Body kit was just enough not too flashy but fitted very well. Exhausts were wrapped round the rear bumper with an almost inch perfect gap so they didn't burn . Stunning wheels . A nice blue metallic roll cage and was a summer car only to keep it good . He had it for many many years . But it was a stunner of a Renault 5 . Not many left . They were easy to steal and easy to crash but the look on the fast ford's crew faces when one of them was having a tear up with a cossie was funny as hell . The Ford guy was always like wtf is in that biscuit tin lol 😂😂😂😂😂 .
