@jankum most spiders do live in a web but alot of bigger spiders create underground burrows. The tarantula for example or the trapdoor spider.

@@AlibiBlu Well, I just googled to be sure and it's apparently the minority. A lot of things lool like crabs and are called crabs, but only a few like the horseshoecrabs are actually arachnids. What I had mixed them up with are scorpions. Those are all arachnids despite having 2 claws and only 6 "actual" legs.
