The Quest for Eastern Shore Virginia Tarpon... From Kayak!!

this video is about my brother and I's quest to catch a Virginia Tarpon, the hardest sportfish to target and catch in Virginia!
I was using a 6th Sense 7'7" HVY Fast Milliken MFer series rod paried with a Shimano Curado and let me say the rod and reel held up great under a lot of pressure!

There’s nothing secret about this, few just have the resources and time to attempt to catch these unicorns, they’re hard enough to catch down in florida where they’re abundant, so of course catching them here is going to be frustrating, I plan to drag my boat down from oc to try and get on one myself one of these days. Great job!

Hi Davey. Thank you for your video! My son and I were there this past week look, but didn't see any. We were fishing from a paddleboards. First time, fishing for them in VA. Hooked up twice in the Keys 15 yrs ago but did not land. Hope to be back next year God willing.
