I don't need more stash space - just a stackables tab (gems/runes/full rejuvs/tokens/keys). Those take up 50% of my space anyways. Would gladly pay $5-10 per ladder or $25 one time fee to get it.

I think above all, we need more than 20 character slots in case there might be people that play across ladder, non-ladder and hardcore, but also potentially accounts that might be shared by more than 1 person. If Blizzard can provide that, then really from there it's on us to make sure we don't hoard too much and periodically get rid of items that we honestly know that we won't use anyway. That... and adding an item browse/search feature on the character selection screen to find specific items so that we don't need to create games one at a time just to take a peek into each character's inventory and personal stash, freeing up server load and saving player's time.

I would pay for a one-time update that added a material tab (gems/runes) and a few extra tabs. But they must be shared, and the character space must be expanded too. Otherwise, it needs to be free

Agreed, not only would I pay for stash upgrade but I would also pay to be able to change my characters name. There's a few who's names I no longer like but I will not spend the time to replay the game and re-level them all to 95+ just to change their names lol.

The complexity of expanding the stash could be due to having to update the server side to support it. A while back people found a bug where if you put too many crafted items in your stash and left the game some would disappear because of the server maxing out on how much it could save per stash with all the random unique crafted affixes. It’s not the space it would take up on the server, it’s the 20 year old d2 code this is all still based on. I’m a programmer myself and I’ll just say things that may seem simple as a user (like expanding the stash) might in reality be insanely mindbogglingly complex to actually build, so they prioritize building other more manageable stuff. They’re also weighing this against countless other feature requests like a loot filter, currency tab, stackable gems/runes, better lobby system, new content, balance, etc. You’re fixating on one feature and being a squeaky wheel, but on their end countless players fixate on other issues and squeak just as loud. In the end they have to make the call on which are the most pressing issues to work on.

Pretty much what I'm thinking. I imagine it would be a complete shit show if they did provide extra space and issues arose with items being lost. While some community mods have been able to provide these features for a very long time, there's been issues historically at times. Even the recent Season of PD2 had some issues regarding items going missing. People are far more forgiving to a community mod that was free, than the official source if issues would arise. I think a lot of the nitty gritty details are what people don't take into account when point out , " This mod does it, why can't the official version do it", Adding to this, there are 4 platforms to support with every change, so this as well can lead to issues across the board. However, I personally would like if they were a bit more open via the communication lines about these topics as it's been very requested/talked about within the community.

I personally think adding more stash tabs in the chest, let gems stack, a separate tab on personal bag for just charms so they don't eat up your entire inventory would be a great start. I'd pay for that option

Maybe they could give us more inventory by some special quest that would need us to farm in game. And for people who don’t want to wait, they could buy it if they want. I’m an old school gamer, I don’t like that some content on a "buy to play" game need to be paid. But if we have the choice to farm in game for it or pay it, that would be great.

You know what's better than paying for it? Earning it in game. Maybe everytime you beat Hell with a character you can unlock 1. Up to 7. 1 extra for each Class.

I was playing Diablo 2 from way back and I am playing it ever since. My main goal in this game is to get all the uniques and set items and collect everything that can be collected, and I want to have them all in my stash. Infinite stash would be awesome but if that is not possible, give us at least expended stash spaces or give us more stash pages. One of the improvements as well could be if they could enable stacking. There is no point in having gems, runes all over your stash. Personally, I have stopped playing the game at the moment since I dont have space to place new items, and Its a bit boring to combine all the time what unique or set item i will drop to take a different one. I am hoping that they will improve this as its very important for all of us

Tips for mules we can also put stuff into caracter personal inventory to get more space , sure is not so big but help a little bite more , but yes we need more space for item ! Trowing so much stuff and give so much for free t’il 1 years 😅

Ingame marketplace wont be bad also so ppl don't need to waste time on sitting and try to trade, will also nullify scam ppl with swaping in last moment on trade windows and all kind of forums, trade sites, selling sites etc etc. those selling sites on lobby driving me nuts with their spams. 100% supporting extended and stackable item stashes even if need to pay little extra. Limited for 20 chars with so little space is nuts cant even make enough mules and so many items to collect from sets items to uniqes with good amount of good rares etc etc. Not including few main characters for playing. just my 2cents

Don't backtrack on what you said... It's not complicated they screwed up and they need to adjust no matter the cost/time/effort. This was Mandatory from the start. As for the people against, they have to realize that it's an option and that the depth of D2 is far more intricate than: OUHH I'M RICH I HAVE ENIGMA. Enigma is where the game starts, fella. Runewords are trash for players that know this game... we want to craft, we want to reroll [uniques, magics, rares], we want to keep lvl 85+ craftable items (thats a lot of storage gone if you even ponder doing this), we want quick access to our socketables, leveling gear (leeching baals ondals), vendor price reduction bow, Sunder charms, Keeping alternate builds (pvp, pvm), Keeping stuff for trade? Forget it with this miserable stash you have to force yourself into trading and people are extremely stingy... so it's best to offer more, right? Nope. Wrong. Can't do No storage... do I need to keep going?????? This is endless. This game Revolves around it. Yes I'd be happy to spend 5$ Each stash tab, but I'm sure a more reasonable price for this is like... 10cents. Like I said, THey Screwed up. So they fix it and we'll still support their efforts pretending that we'll buy D4 (we won't). The only people that will (that respect and appreciate the quality of D2) will only buy D4 to profit on early sale of junk just like a D2R Ladder reset. 3Rd party trading websites wouldn't be as mandatory if we had more storage to actually and actively trade in game....................................... Still puking at the thought of having to type this ever again. It's the dumbest culprit in this game. Recurring & Always knocking at their damn door. That's where they Should be making money. Nope. I’m currently maxed out bc of this very problem. While some people like to “respec” their characters to try new builds I like to make fresh characters and level them up to end game. I currently have 4 different paladins alone. I’m saying that bc I’m maxed out on my account bc they won’t expand the stash tabs or give us a currency tab. I’m not a hoarder but I also don’t throw away useful items. I have a crafting mule, gems mule, rune mule, charms mule, bases mule etc. would be great if we elicited all of those !

I want them to hurry up and get paid cosmetic or paid QOL items. Not because I want to pay more, but because if they don’t generate money development will stop. It’s clear now Diablo games are never going to go back to be like D2. I’ll pay here and there for cosmetics etc to keep my favorite game alive.

I will only pay if it's a two for one special, why not expand the stash and inventory or better yet create a charm section on the bottom of your inventory for charms only freeing up you're standard inventory space, It's not practical to only have enough space for one armor and two items which take up one square each and it hasnt been practical since the 2000's. Not to mention for those of us who are playing on console, using the cube isn't a option because you can't open you're inventory while having half of the battle field show in order to drag a item into your cube, you don't have that mechanic on Console so at least give console players more space, those who have a PC version have access to mods they're be fine, but it seems like those with consoles get screwed out of experiencing the game to it's fullest in all manners and no we shouldn't have to switch over to PC to enjoy a well developed game, the stash/Inventory was always a let down even in the 2000's. I have to make on average 7 trips from the river of flame to fighting diablo because I can only carry one item at a time and two one square items like a potions because the charms take up most of the damn space. I actually gave up on Diablo for a good 10 years just because of the limiting stash was too frustrating.

I do not agree with the idea that it's normal to keep paying in order to continue playing a game and getting updates. Especially since I play mostly in single player mode. For those who play online I can see why a company needs money for server upkeep. In conclusion, it's ridiculous that we have a tiny stash in single player for this kind of game. PS: I do not need constant updates forever. Just make the game more enjoyable with an expanded stash. The patches which mess around with class skills and adding extra items, mechanics and rune words...I don't care at all about them.

I play”ed” on ps5 and i Quit 9month ago purely out of all mules stash maxed out. Unable to make more. Hassel of trading on ps5 system is sooo bad so cant get currency. And dont wanna drop bis stuff for charactors away. So Its stashed and now the point i cant play. Litterly cant make more charactor for new season / ladder so havent tryed ladder Cause i dont wanna delete mules either. So i aint returning before that being fixed atleast for ps5 Its so much worse in my opinion. And u cant just “make new account” and then still mule to that like old time pc u just made more accounts.
