Curious as to why you don't finish up with the P&S Neutralizer (Step 3)? Supposedly it neutralizes the chemicals so the carpet doesn't attract dirt.

Use a drill brush while you blow everything out. Makes it super efficient

I use a small blower with a vacuum hose attachment. Better cfm than a compressor (plus it's warm air to help dry carpets), it's quieter, and has on demand air while you have to wait for a compressor to refill, it's smaller than the smallest compressor, and its less equipment you need for the job.

Why would you blow stuff around when you can vacuum just making a big mess.

Great tips, but the compressed air does not sit well with me. Those airborne particles are going into your nose unless you use a mask. Who knows what the customer stepped on beforehand.

The hangup I have blowing with compressed air as shown is that it sends what’s on and in the carpet everywhere else in the car, doesn’t it? Then, we have to get the particulates out of the back dash by the angled rear window in sedans, for example, where it’s hard to vacuum, etc. What am I missing?

I’d say this is useful for light dirt and not very useful for a heavily soiled carped/interior

Yes if you have clumps in your carpet then blowing it out before vacuuming won't be effective. But a tornador or similar tool will loosen debris embedded in impossible carpet and make a huge time saving difference!. Especially dusty cars that have been neglected or work trucks that just have dirt and dust in every corner or crevice.

Super clean is a degreaser, not a carpet cleaning product. P&S would be much better.
