Let me make it quite clear that those who are convinced that the present divisions in the Qur'an in which the first Juz ends at al-Baqarah 141, and the second at al-Baqarah 252, etc. is correct, have every right to follow it. My lecture is meant for others who recognize that this chopping of Surahs the Qur'an is Divinely prohibited, and who are persuaded that the Qur'an should be recited differently. INH

A very good lecture. Your methodology of recitaton of quran according to Moon seems very logical. Jazak Allah for showing us the correct method. Can u please explain how to make up for the missed days due to menustral cycle especially if it comes on the first 15 days of the month? And also if because of any other reason we somehow could not recite a juzz on its particular day how to make up for that so that we be able to finish quran from cover to cover in a months time. My Question for you is that was there a pattern of recitation of the Quran during the Prophet Muhammad SAW which was recorded in the Sunner following your pattern you described The Qur'an and the Moon? Is this pattern applicable for those who are begginers? What is the implication for thosr that did not follow the methodology you used. How did you come by the methodology you arrived at? Has your pattern known to Muslim since from the time of Muhammad SAW to our present day time? Kindly answers these questions please for the sake of my understanding. Yes. During childhood i always play with the natures and other boys or girls. I remember i want to watch power rangers during magrib which my father forbids and the time it took from 2pm after school to magrib seems like a day. So long. Though im not reading quranic ayah, but i engage with ayah of nature or book of nature. Thus, sheikh lecture has credibilty on it.

Assalammualaikum AlBaqarah is a long surah can you read some pages in the morning some pages in the evening before the end of the day or do you have to read one surah in one sitting even though it is super long? Does this mean you cannot break the surah up even though you can finish it in the same day too? Also another question does the recitation need to be completed before the azan to maghrib?is that the start of the next day?

I have 2 questions respectfully. The first is that the surah's were compiled in one place at the time of Hazrat Abu Bakar Khilafah if I am right for the first time after the death of Nabi Mohamed peace be upon him before it was on a scattered form. So how come the sahaba know that this os the devine order in which the quran should be compiled. 2nd question is that what does it mean by reciting the quran cover to cover if I heard it correctly that is what you said. If I am right the Para's maybe the chops you are referring to were done in the time of taba'een because the fitnas had already started by that time prophecized by nabi Mohammad Peace be upon him and the musims got Lazy to recite the Quran because of the love of this world and they decided to divide in Para's

Not everyone finds recitation of Quran easy, what should someone with learning disability do if he doesn't understand tajweed and can't pronounce arabic letters and his time is running very fast?

As salam alaikum.. the method i approached is to first understand the quran's spirit in general reciting it's translation (not tafseer as tafseers can possibly misguide you before you reach the absolute truth) then i learnt basic arabic grammar and concept of sarf.. together with reading the quran translating words through the process.. Initially it will definitely take longer than a month to finish the Quran however with constant practice of learning quran arabic grammar and reciting of the quran regularly understanding the ayahs and steadily... the speed will pick up and then Allah (swt) will reward you for your efforts if they are done with the pure intention and Allah (swt) knows who deserves the reward... and the person who strives for the truth will never go empty handed from the most merciful.. insha'Allah

Hmm ok.. sure i understand... and i completely agree with reciting the quran and finishing it in the whole month... but i need to understand whenever i recite it.. because Allah (swt) is actually speaking to you through your tongue when you recite the Quran... you dont want to be unable to understand even the basic recitition... surely you will reach the goal of finishing the whole quran within the month. It is unfortunate that we are our forefathers changed the language and did not persue arabic which is such a clear and beautiful language/expression which is why Allah(swt) chose it.. So when i understand the Quran whenever i read it ... then i will "also" study it.. surely studying is different that is when you are looking to analyse the quran... but i really need to understand whenever i recite the quran....

Also, please check Sheikh's beginning this same speech we are on.... that we need to understand when we recite to be able to absorb it properly... we are human and our success is only in understanding... Recitation is different from studying... surely But understanding when reciting is also necessary.. And then we can study the quran by thinking..

Sorry i might have to disagree with you there.. because blessing comes from your deeds.. and thats when you will get the positive energy in your soul.. Reciting quran without understanding and thinking it will benefit you is like you are making some sort of rituals..and thats not what islam is.. And we are not here in some competition.. There is a reason why we are here on this situation... there is wisdom behind Allah's plans.. I do not understand Quran today but i need to stop the error our forefathers committed of reading Quran without understanding.. Slowly but surely we have to practice always the right way... and insha'Allah when we reach to the point of reading the whole Quran in the month then we will really taste the true success.. And again... its through our deeds we gain blessings... and how do we know which deed is right or wrong? By understanding the quran.. And if your soul is not pure from the right deeds ... then you will never acquire the knowledge and wisdom.. May Allah guide all our souls.. Insha'Allah

What are you saying? 😊because i never said "do not recite the quran"... Alhamdullilah .. I am, infact very close to finishing quran every month kindof status.. alhamdullilah i have conpleted by arabic grammar studies ..which is why i give this advise. I am advising the brother to read it understanding it.. like how sheikh said in his speech itself.. please listen to the video again carefully.. So to reach the status of finishing the quran every month understanding it we have to also purify our souls through deeds and actions.. Because i know quite a lot of muftis also these days who have memorised the quran and can finish two qurans per month but are still doing so much fasad.. and unfortunately they have lost the reward of wisdom and baseerah from Allah(swt).. where are their blessings?
