Unlocking the Miracles of Time and Space in Islamic Stories
In this video, we delve into some of the most thought-provoking and miraculous Islamic stories that challenge our understanding of time, space, and the natural laws that govern our world. These captivating narratives, rooted in Quranic revelations and the lives of Islamic scholars, unfold extraordinary events where time bends, space collapses, and divine intervention showcases Allah's infinite power and wisdom.
📜The People of the Cave (Ashab al-Kahf) present one of the most compelling examples of time’s relativity. Imagine seven young men seeking refuge in a cave, only to sleep for 309 years. When they awaken, their bodies remain youthful, untouched by the passage of centuries. The Quran narrates their astonishment as they ask, "How long have we stayed?" and conclude, "A day or part of a day." Their story is not just an account of miraculous preservation but a divine demonstration of how Allah can pause or slow time, as seen in Surah Al-Kahf. This incident invites modern interpretations, hinting at dimensions of time beyond human perception.
🌓 Moving on to Prophet Solomon (Suleyman, peace be upon him), the Quran reveals his ability to command the wind, enabling him to travel distances that would ordinarily take a month in mere hours. This is a profound example of "tayy al-zaman" (folding of time) and "tayy al-makan" (folding of space). Modern science, particularly Einstein's theory of relativity, suggests parallels where time and space can be manipulated under extreme conditions. Could such miracles hint at divine shortcuts in space-time that align with these scientific principles?
Similarly, Prophet David (Dawud, peace be upon him), father of Prophet Solomon, experienced the expansion of time. As narrated in Sahih al-Bukhari, he could recite the entire Zabur (Psalms) during the brief time it took to saddle a horse. This remarkable feat highlights Allah’s power to compress lengthy tasks into fleeting moments for His chosen servants, emphasizing His mastery over time itself.
📚The story of Azrael (Angel of Death) and Prophet Idris brings another dimension to this exploration. Azrael’s ability to be in multiple places simultaneously while fulfilling his divine duties illustrates how Allah empowers His angels to transcend human limitations. This capability is not exclusive to celestial beings; historical accounts, like Sultan Abdul Hamid II reportedly being seen at the Kaaba without physically traveling, suggest that Allah grants similar abilities to some of His most beloved servants.
Even the Quranic narrative of Mary (Maryam, peace be upon her) in her sanctuary showcases divine control over space and time. Out-of-season fruits appeared before her, defying natural laws. Such occurrences mirror concepts like "instant transfer" or "teleportation," reflecting Allah’s absolute authority over creation.
The miracles of Sultan Abdul Qadir Jilani further emphasize the boundless capabilities bestowed upon Allah’s chosen ones. In one account, a skeptic challenges the Sheikh’s ability to bend time. What unfolds is an extraordinary experience where the skeptic lives an entire life-learning a craft, marrying, and raising children-only to return moments later to find himself in the same place, profoundly transformed.
These stories are not mere folklore but powerful reminders of Allah’s omnipotence. They compel us to reflect on the mysteries of the universe and the unseen realities that lie beyond our understanding. As we marvel at these events, let us also remember the humility and devotion of the prophets and saints who never sought such miracles for personal gain but solely to draw closer to Allah.

I have with no boasting dreamt of al Sultan al Awliya Allah Sayyid Abdal Qaadir Jilani ra 3 x the first dream I saw him with my mother he was wearing all white , i saw him with a black beard which was exactly sunna length, very straight nose bridge, upside down v eyebrows which not too much or too little ( in-between) fair skin , very handsome and smiling as nit to show the teeth. He looked like he was in his 30s and in dream my mum says I am the Shaykh of Baghdad which was most likely referring to him . He wore a white kufi and jubba . He was very handsome. The 2nd dream I saw him as an old man wearing a prayer hat and in dream he told me he wanted me to smile more , he said when he was younger he was always smiling 3rd i dream of him in his grave and blood was coming from his back and another one i dreamt that everything i have is because of Abdal Qaadir Jilaani . In that dream I a handsome man with blue eyes and turban told me that ra.. May Allaah remove all our problems for the sake of Sayyid Abdal Qaadir Jilaani ra Ameen

@@MicrobianN This is a difficult decision for us. For the film The Message, scholars from Al-Azhar Islamic University permitted the depiction of companions (Sahabah) except for the Four Caliphs. Based on that, we depict all Islamic scholars, considering their rank lower than that of the companions. In almost all Islamic films, the faces of Islamic scholars were not concealed-I have personally seen this in many productions in Turkey. Do you have any references or sources regarding this matter, or is it solely your personal opinion? Thank you for explaining well

People of a specific time tend to ignore facts that they can't see or establish reasoning for that due to lack of knowledge. Guess what! 300 years ago people would call you a magician if you have shown them a remote control device operated by infrared. The light is not visible but the TV is switched on remotely. Because people of that time didn’t know the infrared or invisible light spectrum.

I like your videos, but would like to make a small correction: Here's the maths about Sulaiman (a.s) flying speed: Traditionally people would travel with camals for long journeys and would travel on average 700 km over a span of 1 month in consideration of rest and sleep. A bird flies at about 60 km/h, so if Sulayman (a.s) also travelled with the wind at 60 km/h, then it would also take him (a.s) just a morning or evening (under 12 hours) to cover 700 km. What do you understand about time travel? Do you think it’s about going to the past, making changes, and then coming back to the present or the future? It’s not a Hollywood movie, brother. Those are already made, and you can watch them elsewhere. 309 years passed, but for them, it felt like much less. Allah said, "Allah knows better than you how many years have passed." This shows that time can flow differently, and this is what we call time traveling. Or imagine someone lived for 10 years, but when they returned, only seconds had passed. This is another story you can explore-it’s time traveling again.

Allah can use awliya, angels and others for his any issues: Qur'anic Verses General Statement About Allah’s Armies: Surah Al-Muddaththir, 74:31: "None knows the soldiers of your Lord except Him." This verse emphasizes that the number and nature of Allah's armies are known only to Him. These armies can include angels, jinn, or other creations. Natural Forces as Allah’s Armies: Surah Al-Ahzab, 33:9: "O you who have believed, remember the favor of Allah upon you when armies came to [attack] you, and We sent upon them a wind and armies you did not see. And ever is Allah, of what you do, Seeing." This verse refers to the Battle of the Trench, where Allah sent wind and unseen forces to aid the believers. Angels as Helpers: Surah Al-Anfal, 8:9: "Remember when you asked help of your Lord, and He answered you, 'Indeed, I will reinforce you with a thousand angels, following one another.'" This verse mentions the angels sent to help the believers during the Battle of Badr. The Sky and Thunder: Surah Ar-Ra'd, 13:13: "And the thunder exalts [Allah] with praise of Him - and the angels [as well] from fear of Him." Here, the sky and natural phenomena are described as servants of Allah, glorifying Him. Hadiths About Allah's Hidden Armies Armies Sent by Allah’s Aid: Battle of the Trench: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) mentioned that during the Battle of the Trench, winds and angels were sent as armies to aid the Muslims: "The keys to the east and the west have been given to me. My Lord aided me with winds and unseen armies to defeat our enemies." (Bukhari, Maghazi, 29; Muslim, Jihad, 58) Angels in Battle: Battle of Badr: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) stated that angels assisted the believers in the Battle of Badr: "On the Day of Badr, Allah helped you with a thousand angels. Later, as glad tidings, He increased this aid to two thousand angels." (Bukhari, Badr, 4; Muslim, Jihad, 58) The Nature of Allah’s Armies: "The armies of Allah are countless; those in the heavens and on earth belong to Him." (Tabarani, Al-Kabir) These references highlight Allah’s help and the concept of unseen armies. Allah’s armies may manifest as angels, natural forces, or events sent with divine wisdom.

Salamun Alaikum Jalal brother, Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment. We thought, instead of leaving this knowledge locked in books-which people rarely read-we should share it here so that we can benefit from it together. This way, we are learning alongside our listeners. We are simply trying to understand what’s written in the books. Unfortunately, we possess no knowledge ourselves; we are still at the first level of the nafs and have not been able to progress to the second. We are striving to be average Muslims. If only we had the knowledge to answer your question. We will continue creating and learning from videos about Abd al-Qadir Jilani, Imam Rabbani, Ibn Arabi, and Rumi, inshallah ❤️

Before using the word bidah please confirm do we have all the hadith of Muhammad (pbuh) from his time with 100% authenticity? As far as I know even immam Buqhari also mentioned in his books saying "if a hadith is missing from my books doesn't mean it doesn't exist". Hadith is more like a reference to understand Quran and stay in limits. People who achieved massive feets that cannot be mentioned anywhere. Many will think it is magic but using the reference of Quran it is possible to understand. Brother if ur saying this is bidah ur ignoring the night travel (maraj) that Muhammad (pbuh) had was also bidha(nauzubillah). Tell me how he had completed maraj in a blink of an eye (23 years). Learn all the aspects before saying words in public platforms. Islam is the easiest way at the same time it is the hardest part to understand. May Allah give you the true knowledge.

1. Role of Awliya (Friends of Allah): In Islam, miracles (karamat) performed by awliya are well-documented and widely accepted. The Qur'an itself mentions the karamat of individuals, such as the miraculous transportation of the throne of Bilqis by a man with knowledge of the Book (Surah An-Naml, 27:40). Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani, being one of the greatest awliya of Islam, was no exception to receiving such Divine blessings. 2. Authenticity of Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani's Miracles: The life of Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani is well-documented in classical works, including: Bahjat al-Asrar wa Ma'adin al-Anwar by Ibn Abi al-Hassan al-Shattanufi. This text records numerous karamat of Shaykh Jilani witnessed and narrated by credible scholars and contemporaries. Qala'id al-Jawahir (Necklaces of Gems) by Shaykh Muhammad ibn Yahya al-Tadifi also contains accounts of his miracles and teachings. 3. Eyewitness Testimonies: Many of Shaykh Jilani’s miracles were recorded by his students, including Shaykh Abu Bakr ibn Al-Hawari and others who directly witnessed his karamat. These were transmitted through reliable chains of narration (isnad), a standard of authentication in Islamic tradition. 4. Status of Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani: Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani was not an "ordinary man." He was a scholar of Shafi'i and Hanbali jurisprudence, a master of Tasawwuf, and was known for his deep knowledge, piety, and impact. Scholars of his time and subsequent generations unanimously recognized his elevated spiritual rank. 5. A Balanced Understanding: It is essential to approach such stories with a balanced perspective. If you think some stories are exaggerated or fabricated, this does not negate the authenticated accounts of his karamat. Dismissing them outright disregards centuries of scholarship and testimony from reliable sources.

@@captainso 1. As i have stated in my comment above you, any muslim can be an awliya of allah, an awliya of allah isnt only for a selected person, thats is why i provided surah yunus 10:62-64 and if your read the tasfir of that verse in tasfir ibn katheer, the verse applies to any muslim who is a friend of allah, you mentioned the verse about the throne of bilqis, while forgetting the man who bought the throne of bilqis was given that miracle by allah, that man in that verse wasnt ranked above anyone, allah at that time granted that man that miracle, just as the miracle of the people of the cave in the quran, those men in the cave werent "spiritually elevated" or ranked above anyone, allah through his own will allowed that miracle to happen 2. I have seen the book by al hassan al shattanufi, most of the stories in it regarding sheikh jilani is fabricated and weak 3. I have read Jame' karamat al-awliyaa and i have fact checked that book to check its sources and sadly it a book with fabricated stories, with no authentic line of transmission, also if you check the "reliable chains of narration" you claimed, most of it fabricated and weak 4. Yes you are right he was a great man but he was still an ordinary man, in a sense that he wasnt ranked above anyone, Shaykh Abdul Qadir Al-Jilani is a great Muslim scholar, one of the greatest imans of islam and his karamat have been narrated in mass transmission. However, most of them are just fabricated or weak. Regardless as a muslim i greatly respect him as a scholar and Imam of the Hanbali madhab, and a defender of the creed of Ahlul Hadith. 5. How can fabricated stories not negate authentic accounts you claim, how can a stories be fabricated yet authentic at the same time? The only reason why you said we should have a balance approach to this is because when you look in the actual authentic life of sheikh abdul qadir jilani you will see that sadly all of the stories of his supposed miracles are fabricated or weak, because if you actually check the authenticity of these stories they are fake and fabricated. Undoubtedly, Shaykh abdul Qadir Jilani was a great, pious, and virtuous scholar. However, after his death, people began to revere and venerate him greatly to such an extent that it led them into making up stories regarding his virtues, and ascribing attributes to him that no human has had. And lastly bring any authentic hadith from the prophet muhummad himself saying that to perform miracles you have to be "spiritually elevated" and that only if you are spiritually special you will gain a high status and be granted miracles? Tell me why abu bakr, umar, ali or uthman, the men who were always with the prophet at every moment, who witnessed revelation come down to the prophet, who witnessed angel jibaril in human form (which has a authentic hadith for it and is found in sahih muslim and sahih bukhari) never performed miracles? Or was it because they spiritually elevated enough? After the prophet muhummad those four men where the greatest awliya of allah, yet sufism comes along and claims the miracles of prophets to sufi sheikhs, how come only the sheikh claimed in sufism could only perform miracles? Was it because they were "spiritually ranked" above everyone else? But as i said bring me a authentic from the prophet muhummad stating that to be given miracles your have to be spiritually elevated

1. Shaykh Abdul Qadir Al-Jilani is a great Muslim scholar, and his karamat have been narrated in mass transmission. However, most of them are just fabricated or weak, you provided names of sources when checked are mostly fabricated and weak 2. You claimed authenticity of sheikh abdul qadir jilani miracles, yet when you actually check those sources they are all fabricated or weak, same as your number 3 point, the chains of narration you claimed, again if you check the chain of those narration it is fabricated or weak, and i have read Jame' karamat al-awliyaa, if you check the sources of that book, its based on fabricated and weak stories, im not saying we deny the Karamat but there are conditions for it. And those conditions are needed to check for any fabrications 4. Undoubtedly, Shaykh abdul qadir Jilani was a great, pious, and virtuous scholar. He was one the greatest scholars of islam, However, after his death, people began to revere and venerate him greatly to such an extent that it led them into making up stories regarding his virtues, and ascribing attributes to him that no human has had. 5. You claimed that fabricated stories dont negate authentic accounts, how can an account of something be fabricated and authentic at the sams time? If a story is fabricated that automatically destroys its authenticity, and if you actually check all the sources you have presented, it all based on fabricated or weak accounts, therefore cannot be authentic And lastly you spoke of "spiritually elevated rank" can you provide a authentic hadith from the prophet muhummad saying that to be granted miracles you need to be "spiritually elevated" and also bring me a hadith from the prophet saying you need to be a special kind of "elevated" to be ranked above "ordinary" humans? Because by your claim, only the sheikhs who are "spiritually elevated" and surprisingly only these sheikhs that the sufi claim where special elevated enough to do miracles, because everyone else is "ordinary".
