• On a side note, there was something I didn't put in the video for the sake of timing.
• With the Honkai Star Rail animation I showed, people were saying it was a Rabbit Hole 'parody.' ... I didn't believe that one bit. It was straight-up traced EVERYWHERE. It wasn't a parody. It was straight up stealing. A parody wouldn't have been traced. Yikes.
▪︎ One thing that I definitely wanted to add was that the oversexualized content being shown to children is a problem. Of course, parents could be seeing what their child is watching, but the problem lies with KZbin's algorithm. This trend is extremely large and once a child runs into it while scrolling through KZbin shorts, it consistently keeps showing up. Especially if the child interacts with it by commenting and/or liking it. The people joining the Rabbit Hole trend generally make it more sexualized than the original video; in which is the type of content usually recommended by KZbin's algorithm. Not to mention the lyrics are misused and misunderstood by people who don't know the translation. (But this is not a surprise, as this has been an ongoing problem between Japanese songs and people who don't know Japanese. A lot of Japanese songs are rooted with sensitive topics like sexual innuendoes and suicide. People will misuse these deeply rooted songs because it has a 'nice tone.')

I read through the comments, and I made a small mistake.
Apparently, the character wasn't Miku, and I mistaked it as Miku. (Since channel makes Hatsune Miku content and it somewhat looks like Miku, I assumed it was Miku.) It was a failure on my part.
Though, the thing that confused me was that Miku and Pure Pure looked similar. The blue hair, the pigtails, and at some point, the video show cased other animations they did with Miku. So, I thought it was Miku.
(Honestly, I think they should of changed SOMETHING with Pure Pure to make it more unique and less like Miku, considering they're known for making Miku animations. For example, changing the hair color to not be blue. Or making the hair style not pigtails. Hatsune Miku is extremely well known, and you wouldn't want to make an entirely new character just for it to be confused as Miku because it barely has a difference.
With Miku's age, she was originally 16 years old. Even though you can make her age anything you want, it still is an ick to me that someone has to change her age to get away with adult themes.
And considering how 18 is JUST on the border of being legal, I'd say it's still too young.

The thing is they only gave Miku an age to make her more marketable but at the end of the day all vocaloids are just instruments and miku, Len, rin, kaito, etc, are JUST MASCOTS. I apologize but I don’t get why changing the age of a mascot to fit the creator’s story gives you the ick, it has been done for years in the vocaloid community for storytelling purposes whether it is making them older or younger, for all kinds of songs, comics, MMD series, etc, for sexual songs, disturbing songs, happy songs, sad songs, and sometimes nasty producer don’t even age the characters up for their sexual songs they sometimes even age them down. It’s insane the amount of disgusting sexual songs about Len as a shota or rin as a loli that people prefer to ignore, but these kinds of songs that try to portray a message about good or bad things get unnecessary hate for stupid reasons. Oh and it’s not that producer’s have to age the mascots up to “get away” with sexual content, they just age them up because they can and want to, and thankfully most do, there’s quite a bunch that prefers to age them down instead, it’s disgusting. (Also the honkai thing, it’s a parody, it’s not exactly traced, it’s just a PARODY of the original with a different character from a different fandom, this is also not new and something that has been done for years. It’s not stealing, they’re not claiming it as theirs or profiting from it, they themselves said in their video that it is a parody.) ((Also, also, the thing about kids in the gacha community joining the trend, and the older gachatubers making nsfw vids “for kids to stumble upon”…. The kids making those kinds of videos need to be monitored and taught better by their PARENTS it’s not us older gacha kids’ fault, us older gacha users already had our time when we were young and made kids content for ourselves and our audiences, the older gachatubers and adults that are “making nsfw vids for kids to stumble upon” are just the same gacha kids that grew up and no are no longer interested in making kids content and are aware that their audience just like they themselves have grown, and it’s time to move on, change their content, and broaden it, no longer being held back because they were a kid, they are now old and full of ideas, it’s not their fault if unsupervised kids stumble upon their vids and recreate it, they may be adults now but it is not their responsibility to parent random kids on the internet, putting a trigger warning is the most they can do, it is not their fault nor responsibility, they can do as they wish.))

Miku technically doesn't have an actual age, she's an instrument. The creators said she could be any age you want her to be, and design her however you want. There are SO MANY versions of Miku and you can search them up. There's also soo many songs including Miku that are s3xual, this is very tame compared to some other songs. I do agree that there needs to be a warning, but many people DO add 16+ to the title, and the parents should be monitoring what their kid is watching on youtube anyway. People can do whatever they want with their channels, they don't have to babysit every single one of their audience. However I do agree with the tw, it could potentially be very triggering to some people.

Ok, as a Vocaloid fan, let my clarify this, putting everything about gacha aside: MIKU IS NOT 16 IN EVERY VIDEO SHE'S IN 16 is the age given to her by CFM (Crypton Future Media), its for marketing Her age, personality, and even looks can be altered to fit a song, thats the appeal of her and other Vocaloids, you can make her whatever you'd like, for she is an instrument, not a character Same goes for rin, len, meiko, kaito, and luka Also, the character in the MV / animation IS Miku, just Deco*27's version of her Miku isnt a sixteen-year-old girl, shes a singing synthesizer

Big vocaloid fan here. I think it’s important to note that there’s plenty of vocaloid songs using the Miku voice that are inappropriate. It’s just like how people listen to English songs and don’t know they’re about sex. It’s not an uncommon thing. There’s plenty of songs that Gacha made popular with sexual topics. My only worry is that people don’t know the lyrics at all and only focus on the beat. By all means, people should put trigger warnings. And I have seen a really goood rendition of it that wasn’t sexual or completely copying the video, and more importantly, had a trigger warning. My major issue is, again, people don’t know the song they’re using. Kids shouldn’t be doing the trend. The animation itself is more 16+, and I believe people 16+ should have at it, but put CWs and NOT TRACE. It doesn’t matter if it’s a trend, never trace someone’s work. I personally love the work. The creator also made the “Miku miku oo ee oo” animation that a lot of people know. I think the Rabbit hole animation was intended to ward off any kids who fled to the channel. The animation itself is really good, but again, younger people should not be watching it as the original intention was to get younger people away (to my knowledge).

I understand your point with the straight up tracing and copying, but I don’t think “inappropriate” content is something that should be limited or completely shut down. It’s a form of expression like any other and telling people to “just not do that” is like telling an artist to “just not draw”, if that makes sense. Especially when the people participating in the trend are more than likely 16 or over, you can’t expect them to babysit their audience. Most people do put warnings and the people that don’t should be held accountable. I’d also like to tap into the meaning of the song for a moment - it talks about a “special kind of love”. It’s more so of a rant on how sex and pleasure can be easily manipulated or misconceived as love or romance, and how it gets tiring expecting love out of something as simple and desirable as pleasure. The trend itself is fine, the content is fine, and watching people reanimate the original is fine. Nothing about it is a direct issue. The people tracing? An issue. The people refusing to put warnings? An issue. But hold those people specifically accountable for their own actions instead of blaming the entire community and people who choose to participate in the trend. Just personal thoughts of mine, and this is all completely lighthearted argument! I’m not looking for a fight, just wanted to share some pointers ^_^

Really? There's nothing about the English lyrics that feels hypersexual. It's a cool interpretation and can be twisted into a story about hypersexuality, it feels more like a girl who wants sex without the commitment of a romantic relationship. FINALLY, SOMEONE TALKING ABOUT THE TRACING ASPECT THAT'S PROBLEMATIC! Honestly, this is NOT NEW. LUVVORATORY was likely a song about Gumi and Rin wanting sex. We used a Vocaloid song about *sexual abuse* (Gommene Gommene/I'm Sorry) for a trend because the scream was nice. Maybe I'm biased, but the Rabbit Hole feels like a good allo-aro representation, ("Tired of the fluff, I just want to be railed" / "Take your maiden-hearted ideals on over to the door" / "You thirsty for me? Could you stop being cringy?" Just some English lyrics I relate to as an aromantic bisexual) and I am pissed that so many people take a problem with it. We use sexual Vocaloid songs all the time, many of them about rape. Yet a song about consensual sex is problematic, because??? We should acknowledge the more harsh issue, the tracing and "heavy inspo" that feels more like plagiarism. The trend is just tracing and calling it original.

People are so shocked about the song's lyrics and animation but this is actually not the first thing like that. As a vocaloid fan, inappropriate songs are pretty popular here, songs that describe s#x, literal crimes, s/a, dr*gs ect. Some songs have way way WORSE PV's/animations, trust me. Vocaloids are literal instruments with no actual age and you can age them up or down, but mostly people go with 16 for Miku, 14 for Kagamine duo and blah blah blah. My honest opinion? The fact that it is a trend IS kinda weird but let people do what they want as long as it doesn't harm anyone, videos from this trend are SUPPOSED to have a trigger warning and be AT LEAST 15/16+ if it's actually NSFW (i've seen some SFW versions of this trend). But also there are and were many gacha trends normalizing/romanticizing s/a and nobody bats an eye, which is actually bugging me. Honestly, i'm confused on the whole is it Pure Pure or Miku thing.

I remember when months ago (or a year i forgot) Deco 27 posted the song, and I wa sactually suprised at how sexualised the song was, butv oclaoid music has always been perverted in a way. Take Len for example. He is 14 and has multiple inappropriate songs that are sung by him, yet people brush it off as a joke. Good point, but the purpose of displaying the name is for the sake of showing evidence to back up what I am saying. It shows the problem and who is contributing to it so that people are aware of that particular individual contributing to the problem. Not showing the name wouldn't matter much anyway, considering people could recognize the video and immediately go hunt for this individual. But that isn't the big picture. The LARGEST reason why I display the name is that I LEGALLY CAN NOT leave the name out. I legally can't take someone's video and put it in mine (even if I am debunking it) without some form of credit to who made it. Even the video I displayed was traced. Within legal reasons, I still have to give credit to who made it. Honestly, the only type of credit I know how to use is either show the channel name or link the video in the description. (Linking the video would of given easier access to the other person's channel, so it wouldn't be the most ethical.) It's like reposting someone's content without giving credit. Personally, I think the rabbit hole trend is fine if it's people who are 18+ participating in it. To me I think it's the fact that Minors are interacting with this Trend. The song itself is indirectly talking about people or rather the character Pure Pure, only wanting the sexual aspect of relationships. Hence the line "If you get lonely, find anybody, just get lucky" in the chorus and "Burst and scramble, we're instant lovers" in verse 3. The song itself has a sexual undertone and should've never been introduce to minors and the Gacha community. If you have to bust your behind to make a sfw version of the trend, don't bother making a trend like this in a community that involves minors. I have nothing to say in reference of the song and Miku being used as Len himself has been used in explicit songs likeSacred Spear Explosion Boy and Spice, but I don't see anyone complaining about those just as much about this.
