The Race Of Gentleman - T.R.O.G. - 2021

Every year thousands of people from around the country gather to race on the beaches of Wildwood, NJ. The event is held to preserve traditional American racing all while having plenty of fun in the sun. It's a weekend retreat with late nights and early mornings, where you laugh and yell and experience nature in the strangest possible way. A reminder that the most admirable aspects of humanity have yet to die off.

As someone who's been looking to attend this for years, I don't understand why she jumps and then drops the flag. Do they go when she jumps, or when she drops the flag, because that could cause a problem when determining the winner.
