On virgin airlines, when you were flying a long haul flight, they used to give you a little packet of earphones that you could plug into your seat. And on the arm rest there was a little control pad. You could either watch the latest films, or watch tv shows or listen to music. And in 2006, this album was a new release and it was one of the albums available to listen to on the flight. So I listened to it on repeat for like 8 hours from the UK to the Caribbean. And bought the album when I got home from holiday. I remember that more clearly than I remember the whole vacation.

I've been listening since it was released and the names of the group got old or something. Because I was unaware that Jack White could even play the guitar. Not until I realized they were gonna showcase him in this band. This song was in dedication to an old friend of his but he said goodbye to him a long time ago. And I ain't naming him. Because it's not worth dropping. But anyways, it was a lovely tune, and I want more guitar like this. I'd even dig his vinyl crate, but I wouldn't give the white stripes a listen.
