OMG „one more time“ was my wife’s favourite song. She would play this millions of times when she bought in on CD almost 20 years ago and would be dancing through the house whenever it was on. She very unexpectedly and surprisingly has passed away way too young this year. And I found this only after. She would have absolutely adored this. Flooded with tears while listening to this as all the memories are popping up. Memories of my best soulmate and

Your lady is my kind of kindred spirit x remember being on holiday, think Malta 🇲🇹 packing suitcases to go back home, ' one more time' the video was on, cranked up the volume, had a dance with my lil sis, our parents joined in, your lady has taste! Love when the beat drops in it! So very sorry for your loss x so kind of u to share her memories with us, this is why Pete Tong and the heritage orchestra are out of this world- they remind us to sing as if no one is listening, dance as if no one is watching and have these epic memories with our loved ones, and for our loved ones x

Indeed. I remember those days. And this definitely is NOT rave. Rave music is very, very different. If anybody claims to "remember" this music then claims it's rave clearly does not remember this music. This type of music died long ago, sadly. We're occasionally lucky enough to get a comeback. This shared Joy: 1. Joy of listeners from the brilliant work of the orchestra 2. Joy of the orchestra with good fun that they give to listeners 3. Joy of KZbin viewers from the satisfaction of the orchestra, the audience and the opportunity to listen to brilliant songs

This is quite simply one of the best Proms ever, no argument. It also shows that no one does it better than the BBC. And finally it proves why Britain is so great. One of the best two or three nights of my life. I am so, so lucky.

I can scarcely imagine the rush that must be going through the orchestra when playing this. I imagine as a classical musician, you don't really anticipate crowds going wild during one of your performances; and seeing such a positive energetic crowd having a wonderful time to music hard to find anywhere else in the world; must be a rush like no other. You can see the orchestra and the crowd having a great time. 😁

Me too! Especially with "Lola's Theme", so bizarre that I had that reaction. The song itself, the arrangement, the melody, the energy, the kick-ass vocals and of course those strings and rest of orchestral backing are so beautiful that it's almost overwhelming brought tears of joy to my eyes while I simultaneously found myself spinning around my living room. The power of music!

Ive been listening to this album on Spotify for a while.... Hour drive to work in the morning listening to this full volume puts a massive smile on my face... I've always thought "you tube must have a video of just one of the tracks" so I searched and found the whole album... In my head listening to the music I've always thought how awesome, amazing it would be to watch these talented musicians perform. I've not been let down... Somehow I get so emotional.....this is not me !!!! I show no emotion....!!!... BBC please please give us another show... Fleking awesome

Before everything was (obviously) shut down for the pandemic this whole group became a yearly touring company with shows around December and January; there’s full recordings of a couple of their performances up on KZbin, if you haven’t found those yet. imo they’ve really stepped up their game since the (already-impressive) Ibiza Prom.
