Thank you for posting this video. I made many crystal radios with DIY coils and I failed. There is an AM radio station located about 90 km away that broadcasts at 549 kHz with a power of 100 kW. What's the length of the aerial which I will require?

This going out to a 25 ft wire antenna. With a direct earth ground. I was able to hook it up to the amplified bullet speaker. And it works.
