Yes, whenever I travel, I always listen to their songs because it perfectly fits with the buildings and clouds passing by me.

I love him, too. He's so calm and thoughtful. He's phenomenal! I agree with everything he's about. I look like I listen to the radio dept because I do. Ever had that feeling?

It's a shame that Johan's not really into shoegazey stuff anymore. He really didn't have to say that in the interview, considering you could tell from the fact that their sound started to drift farther away from that 'Lesser Matters' sound, as more albums were released. Maybe there's a chance that the new MBV album released last year resparked his interest in that kind of stuff? :D I can only hope,, haha

Shoegazeable Dude. They were always considered a pop band, and the wrote pop records with a few elements of "shoegaze". I never considered them a complete shoegaze band, just a slow/sad core kind of band that arranged pop songs. Also Johan was mostly into early 90's dance music.

Truth is in all countries most of the music is either trash or mediocre including America. Sweden has been producing more artists that are worthy of note. This band and the Mary Onettes are are indicating good things coming out of that country. Making this Swedish American proud.

idk man...there are tons of good bands/music from America...ie Wild Nothing, Beach House, Diiv, Washed Out, Black Marble....sooo many more!! most of the music is good, just tune it to the right channels and you get 'em
