What is that long, cage-like thing hanging from the porch in the background, that looks like it has some sort of movement going on?...

Hi! You asked for suggestions? I strongly suggest you GO to The City Museum in St Louis. It sounds boring, right? Well, it cannot be described. It MUST BE SEEN, to believe. I never thought I would see the one place in the world which is like no other until I reluctantly went there. It was like I found the one thing I was forever hunting for … in St Louis? Come on! How can that be so? But you will say the same thing. Also, I know you have heard tell of Yankee Ferry, the most obscure, yet most meaningful of all icons of, not only NYC, but of America, and of Europe. Take a tour, or an interview, and you will have a new take on life and living and, appreciating all things from the past which can actually, yet, change the now! You will see how all on your own. I think you have my info. I shall enjoy sharing. There is more to come. Ahoy, Victoria MacKenzie-Childs

I thought I knew Peaksill MY but obviously I don't. The only antic shop I remember is on Rt. 17 across the street from the doughnut shop. Where are you located. And yes I could use some rebuilt light fixtures.

radio-guy.com/ is Steve's web-page and his shop is located at: Radio Guy Antiques 115 North Water Street Peekskill, New York 10566 One of the more amazing places I've visited--highly recommend stopping by once we can all leave our homes again!

@@chriskojinaka2993 It was back in 2000 to 2010 that I did training at West Point not for the cadets but for the professional staff that ran the place. Every night I would drive around to discover the Hudson Valley. Not just American Choppers but all the great Restaurants, (still have not had dinner at the Culinary Institute) and the out of the way places. I met the two guys restoring General Washington's Winter camp at Peeksill and was allowed to take pictures inside. What other places should I visit in your back yard?

Down by the river and Early Electrics is a fascinating place to visit.
