Truong M Pham I'm aware. Actually, I think he's even crazier than Shizuo in terms of feats. In the scene where he fights Graham, he switches from a sitting position to a full handstand so fast that nobody sees him move. Not only that, but the way that he's able to jump around would actually put him at the same general strength level of Shizuo- He's pushing 160-170lbs of body weight around incredibly long distances at speeds faster than the eye can see.

Coolest guy ever. Even if he is a violent sociopath who is convinced he is like a god (he honestly could be, given what he has accomplished), that only he exists and that everything is for him. But deep I think he knows that’s not entirely it as he clearly has the ability to feel emotion and connect with people he wouldn’t feel the loss of Tony like that if he didn’t think some of his world was real. He’s actually kinda normal, if supernaturally good at killing.

No, it doesn't need a second season. it needs a 100-200 episode remake. The original novels actually have enough material for that, and they messed up the anime so bad by trying to squish things together into such few episodes. I know the Baccano! anime is one of the best out there, but it still could have been many times better. Luckily they're at least finally translating the novels to English, so there might actually be a chance at a new anime if the novels manage to reawaken people's interest in the series.

I have to disagree a bit with you there, buddy. I think having Leo play as Claire would kind of spoil the identity of the rail tracer quickly, as people (audience) would believe that Leo wouldn't have been placed/assigned to a character who would die in the first minutes of the movie. So the audience would probably think that Leo was somehow still alive, as the whole predicament was not fully shown until the end.

I also have to disagree, while Vingry's comment is an important point... So is the fact that Leo is a bit old for the role by now, as Claire is all of 20 years old at the time these events occur. If Baccano!: The Live Action had somehow been made in the 90s, he would have been a great fit. But this is 2018... if it ever gets made the studio in charge of the project will have to recruit somebody young, but more importantly a fresh face who should be more or less unknown to the viewers. This element is vital to making the twist/reveal genuine for the new audience who won't have seen the anime or read the novels.

from what i heard their was a special novel where these two meet. claire in his rough 80s to 90s visits japan with chane and while in ikebukuro chane almost gets hit by one of shizuo's thrown objects. afterwords the two get in a fight that shizuo is in a disadvantage in.

@@lunerblade13 Given dates and ages, either Claire was older or Shizuo was still a kid. Iirc Claire's 80's are in the 1980's and the same for his 90's and the 90's. Durarara happens in the middle 2000's. It took a few years before Shizuo stopped breaking himself every time he lost his temper and he didn't even meet Izaya (the most likely reason for said flying object) until highschool so Claire was likely near 100.
