That was a handy store when i worked at gateshead, i could swing by on my way home. Bit of the way now, most of the weekend im either fishing or editing or doing family stuff. Times very limited at moment. Stopped in at morriset hot tackle on my way home from fishing on Saturday but had to park the boat. Got what i needed but as always 🙌

Lol bcf Cessnock is OK in a pinch but I've been buying online from hot tackle. Some cracking fish as usual mate. Fella I work with and I have been saying the same thing how shut-down the fish have been in the harbour and the lake. I went up the bay and caught Port Jackson's, wirra while searching for snapper just none about then I was thinking of packing up and going home when a container screemed off with my 6' plastic so the day ended bloody awesome and fresh tuna is delicious lol

Hey Lowy, another great video mate. Mate I have a couple of questions I hope you can help me with. Firstly, do you find the Samaki vibes (and Jackalls) foul up a lot? Some days I just get constant foul ups as I retrieve. Any tips for stopping this happen? And second, what rod do you find is the most effective for feeling the vibration of the lure? Any favourites? Cheers mate, love the videos !!
@Lowysfishing8 ай бұрын
Cheers mate 👍 i find not letting them sink on really slack line helps reduce that foul up. So when i cast out an it hits the water i shut the bail arm so it sinks under tension. I like fast tapered graphite rods best for vibes. Im using a jackall bpm 7,3 rod atm and its great. Most graphite rods around 7 ft 4-10lb with a fast action will be nice vibing rods. I guess the difference in the more expensive rods is a bit better sensitivity and further casting. Hopefully this helps mate 👍
@finno_07088 ай бұрын
@@Lowysfishing Legend, thanks mate. So same with the lifts off the bottom? Just make sure it falls back down under tension? That rod looks cracker, too :)

Great video. I just moved up lake Macquarie in December and scouting around at the moment. Im land based for the moment but hope to change that soon. I have foud that BCF really lack in good fishing gear compared to 3 or 4 years ago. Hot tackle is about 30 mins from my place and will go there instead of BCF caust the service and available gear is way better.

It's great to see someone like yourself enjoying fishing as much as you do. This is another top video from the Lowysfishing stable. An occasional reference to the water temperature, depth & view of your Lowrance are the only embellishments I suggest. Also, be sure the plugs in the back of your FF are tight. I killed my Hook2 by being overzealous with my attempts to clean out corrosion & Bradley Seeto's FF was irreparable because his plugs were not tight enough. Thanks for sharing.
