The Rain Formerly Known as Purple (Risk of Rain 2) - Funk-Fusion Cover Feat.

Back with an absolute banger of a SLOW JAM!
A solid amount of folks have commented on some of my Balatro/latest solo covers saying "Dom, your music sounds a lot like Risk of Rain 2's OST". Funny enough I used to play a lot of RoR2 back a few years ago, but completely didn't realize how special the music was. I started to check out some of ‪@AstronautDown‬ 's compositions for this game and was in awe, especially of this tune.
In celebration of the new release of the DLC for Risk of Rain 2 and learning this song was heavily inspired by Prince, I decided to cover "The Rain Formerly Known as Purple" and feature none other than my good friend Josh Vasquez aka ‪@XnarkyVGM‬ !!!

Heyo! Stumbled across yalls Balatro covers after just buying the game, and imagine my surprise to find this and other covers from some of my favorite games (the Brinstar Red Soil cover goes hard). I know this might be too indie but I beg of you to check out the OSTs for Outer Wilds (and specifically it’s Echoes of the Eye DLC) and Rainworld (specifically “Kayava” and “The Captain” seems right up yalls alley). Both of em, but definitely Outer Wilds are deeply important games with heavy themes that I’d love to see y’all explore. Can’t wait to see more, just subbed!

the devs of the dlc arent the same as the devs for the actual game, ror2 was made as an indie game by a company with 2 guys named hopoo games, about a year ago they sold the IP to their publisher, gearbox. which is notorious for ruining stuff
