Can't believe I haven't seen this. It brings back so many memories. Saw the Ramones over 30 times from 79-96. By the 90s they honed their sound so well it was like hearing a full orchestra. Johnny had sounds coming from his Mosrite that no other human could recreate. Joey was barely pronouncing the words anymore but that made it even better. The greatest night was Philly 96 Adios Amigos during a blizzard. It was jam packed at the Electric Factory and it was a sonic moment in time. My ears rang for hours. There will never be another Ramones. No band could fill a room with sound like them. So precise. Like a military style arrangement and total chaos in the crowd. But good chaos. May they all rest in peace.

I still have 6 tickets unused, for that blizzard show... i bought them for me and friends, but ate em.

@@davidschoen4378 Really? How cool. I can't believe I drove in an Isuzu Amigo without 4 wheel drive. It was so scary. But I wasnt going to miss their last show. What a night. We also went to see the opening act, Gren who we thought would be the next Nirvana but the faded fast.

This is an incredible portray of the ramones, excelent. Johnny and joey mastered the technique in the 90s, cj was the turbo charger for the final years, marky didnt progress much tbh, but man thank you great comment

KC native here. Can confirm the Granada sucks like that. Had my camera confiscated trying to get Chris Robinson singing with Gov't Mule. Gave my camera back sans film at the end of the show. 35 years after this, they still suck like that. Great venue otherwise.

In 1978, the Ramones were the greatest live band in the world. I saw them in NYC and around the NYC area many times. But, I have never seen a live performance recorded from that year that captures their essence like this recording... This is a thing of beauty. :)
