Assuming the speed of a HESS is actually 40mph, at a distance of 93,000,000 miles it would take 2,325,000 hours (93,000,000/40) to reach the sun. That translates to 97,083 days or 266 years.

This is assuming one starts at the radius of the Earth's orbit with zero angular momentum. In practice, and ignoring the need to escape the Earth's gravitational field, you'd have to eliminate all your angular momentum about the Sun to get there from the Earth's surface. At minimum you'd need to move in the opposite direction of the Earth's motion at the speed the Earth is moving about the Sun, which is about 30 km/s. So 40 mph is way short of what you'd need. Conclusion: You cannot HESS from the Earth to the Sun. It's even less possible when factoring in the 11.2 km/s escape velocity from the Earth's surface.

I mean to start the HESS, he would have to roll, and that cancels all momentum, meaning Link could HESS a straight line into the sun. Plus I think you need ISG which means no gravity.

18:02 Japanese Hiragana and Katakana have an order. Kanji can be spelled with Hiragana based on context. Hiragana and Katakana are usually represented as a rectangle rather than linear like Alphabet because each character is a syllable containing a consonant followed by a vowel, the first 5 have no consonant and ん (n) has no vowel. あ (a), い (i), う (u), え (e), お (o) か (ka), き (ki), く (ku), け (ke), こ (ko) etc... Some of them are not what you'd expect at first, like Shi and Tsu are where you'd expect Si and Tu to be.

Been loosely copying your rando settings even though I am grossly underprepared for no logic. Your videos have been familiarizing me with different useful glitches, so that when I get to the point in the run I know what to search for on zeldaspeedruns. Only problem is when you do something that isn't on there, especially since most the info on zeldaspeedruns is at least 5 years old. I've tried to reverse engineer a couple of tricks, the only one I've had any luck with is the clip from the platform room in deku tree to the boss room, although I think I use a different platform than you? Idk how that works/happened. Kinda mad at myself that I only just realized this video I can just watch the vods to get longer footage of the tricks. Would still be cool if you made a series talking about rando useful glitches that you use, think you've been talking about doing something similar.

Speedrunner ZFG proudly waited outside the visiting locker room after the sub 4 hour run to give his victorious self an appreciative fist pound on Wednesday afternoon. Exhausted runner ZFG yelled out, "There you go! There you go." Speedrunner ZFG gave himself a look of pleasant surprise after liberating Serbia and seizing the means of production from the Nintendos capatalistic overlords, he then proceeded to hess to the nearest orphanage and break open their food containers to find hidden golden skulltulas. As the police arrived to apprehend ZFG, he bomb hovered out of the building blowing a hole in the roof and ascended into the sun, never to be seen again. The orphans required extensive therapy after being repeatedly tackled and starved, never again will they feel comfortable inside their own skin, they became hollow shells of their former selves that sat around a pile of 20 year games and repeated “when is the next Majora rando?”

depends on the settings, if ganons castle is open then go mode is just magic, bow, ganons boss key and light arrows (edit: maybe some small keys too but i dont remember ganons castle)

With these settings: Light arrows, bow, magic are needed to beat Ganondorf. Need 7 dungeon rewards to get Ganon tower boss key. 1 is free so need to kill 6 out of 8 bosses. Luckiest seed would have 6 overworld entrances lead to bosses so no boss keys are needed. 3 bosses require a specific item to kill (mirror shield, hammer, boomerang). Hence, with best luck, only need to kill one of those 3, and so one of mirror shield, hammer, and boomerang. For the 5 remaining bosses, a couple more common items are required. A way to stun gohma (I don't think bow stuns her) is needed so nuts or slingshot [EDIT: TIL boomerang stuns her while on the ceiling]. For King Dodongo, explosives or strength is needed. Already require bow, so nothing extra for phantom ganon or Bongo Bongo. Morpha requires nothing. To reach the dungeons (and GC), I don't think any additional items are required (Kokiri, DC, BotW, ice cavern, spirit and water temples, and Ganon's castle are seven entrances that require no items to get to IIRC). In summary, minimum items required: Bow Magic Light arrows Mirror, hammer, or boomerang Nuts or slingshot (EDIT: or boomerang) Explosives or strength The luckiest seed would have all these items drop from the required bosses' heart containers plus seeds start with one free item. This would be "quickest" in the sense of the fewest items, however a truly fast seed would likely have warp songs at convenient checks and possibly hookshot as forest temple is an easy entrance to get to.

Quickest start would have no-item checks, like in KF. Shop has 4 checks, Mido's has 4, and the sword chest. 9 checks could potentially get you explosives, bow, magic, mirror shield, boomerang, LA, hammer, etc. after that, if all the bosses are in the overworld, it's just a boss rush.

@@LilacMonarch Of course. As I said I just listed the minimum items. Warp songs would also make the run much faster. For example, minuet is basically free because when you play it, it gives you a check (the minuet check) and takes you right to a dungeon. Since I listed 6 required items and and the minimum number of checks in a seed would be 7 (6 boss HCs + 1 free), getting hookshot would lose almost no time and then save time getting in to forest and killing Morpha.
