I stumbled on your channel a few days ago and was looking to see if you had a Range haul! I always check out the art section whenever I go to a general shop and am usually disappointed to find it's two pads of paper and a bunch of poster paint, but was really surprised by the Range's well... range! They had a bunch of stuff - as you say, mostly hobbiest, but as that's what I am I loved it! Looking forward to seeing more of your videos. (I also got the same brushes because they were just so beautiful!)

I really like The Range for art supplies, especially for Winsor and Newton products. I would love to go in to their stores and re-merchandise their art section though, they are always messy and under stocked. 😄 Let me know what you thought of the Winsor and Newton watercolour paper, I bought the same paper and found that it’s a bit waterproof, the paint beads on the surface. Not exactly a quality you want in a watercolour paper. Lol

You could always try hobby craft for some canvases they do have quite a lot so they might have the one your looking for!!

gods winsor and newton are on sale every other week at my range, im in the uk and im bloody glad i can get 30ml tubes of galleria acrillic for 2 pounds. like my gods thats a good deal

That was an interesting wee haul! I've tried the inktense pencils and blocks and I really like them. I've used them on clothes and for more standard art too. If you tried them I'm sure you'd like them.

cool shop. I thought deco time was a brand of the Dutch discount chain Action and I didn't know that the markers and colored pencils from this brand are also sold elsewhere.

@@GemmaMorganArt it works the markers are good, and the colored pencils are not so good, they dust a little and don't give off as much color

Waiit you can use glazing Medium as a varnish? Isn’t it meant to be mixed in with your color so you can use glazing techniques

Alas, the range store by me hardly stocks the amount of art supplies as it used to.They have moved the majority of it's art stock online.The problem there is you can get similar art supplies cheaper from amazon,so they loose out on sales,not a clever move on there part.

The acrylic paints are bad for miniatures and wargame painting, same with diorama making. Brushes are good though and not tried the ink yet for washes. The gesso was good.

Inktense are the best water activated pencils I have ever used. Please get them. Once you activate them the colour comes alive. I have the 72 set and I love them!!!

DO NOT buy Derwent colored pencils! I bought a pack from the DOLLAR STORE (yeah they sell them there) and they are horrible! You don’t get a lot of pigment and the tip breaks, also the pencils don’t last long at all! You have to keep on resharpining
