where was muhammad when this happened? thought he was preffered prophet of god. he could not even do anything for her sacrifice. where was Allah? she was the first 7 believers.

It was her test. Jannah doesn't come without a price. And when a believer will experience the first moment of jannah and it will be asked have u suffered any pain the believer will be in such ecstasy that he she will say none! Such will be the case of all Shuhada.

Muhammad saws had no means to stop what was happening to the family of yasir because they were the slaves of an enemy tribe. Abu jahal was the tyrant of that tribe. Islam allows uttering disbelief to save ones life (as long as the heart believes) without any punishment. However that was her belief in the promise of Jannah that she would not compromise even in words.

If you are Christia then where were the companions of Jesus when he was taken to crucify? Did anyone sacrificed himself to protect Jesus??? Nooo... that was test.... But the companions of our beloved Prophet Muhammed PBUH sacrificed themself happily to protect Allah's messenger. May Allah be pleased with them all.
