What a season. Brilliant performances. Layaah the most special talent. Haydog the best rapper. CBliminal flexing and made some catchy hooks throughout. But Zizou, although I liked his personality towards the end, I just couldn’t appreciate his freestyle as it seemed to past the point of homage (to Santan Dave) and came off as a copy to me. Layyah definitely deserved winner but the wheel up seemed forced. Zizou came on smoke but was too late. Listening back Cbliminal was actually so sick. Haydog on smoke as a default setting.

I didn't think this year was that good, but Haydog was the standout for me. He was consistent. Everyone thought Layyah was the one from early because she did something different with the opera. But opera is words, it's not just harmony. She wasn't doing opera, she was just harmonising for a period of time when she could have been spitting bars instead. It worked the first time, but I didn't need to hear it again after that.
