Do you apply any preservation treatments to these rare traps? Ie something a museum would apply to maintain the patina but stabilise further oxidation.

@@FrietjeOorlog inflation does not affect all products equally. Considering how niche collecting mousetraps is, I suspect it wouldnt. Would you consider it massive “inflation” if the mousetrap was bought for $2000 when the previous one to be sold was sold for $1000?

I'd love to learn some mousetrap history! It's always interesting to listen to someone talk about their passion. Thank you for all the interesting video, I love learning and how humanely you treat the animals you trap, no matter if it's a live trap or not. It shows that you really appreciate animals and nature and aren't in this for the shock value.

Hard to see... LOL What? Why would you need subtitles? That small thing is called "a mouse". Mouse enters the trap. The door closes, mouse is inside. Mouse must be eating. Mouse enters second chamber. Door opens again. Another mouse appears...

Who would streal from your barn? Trail cameras or a wifi camera like in indoor wyze is cheap and would work. My 3 are perfect. Other options are out there too.

Mice are so dumb. Mouse 1 gets trapped. Mouse 2 comes along. Mouse 2: “Hey Mike.” Mouse 1: “Hey George.” Mouse 2: “Anything to eat in here?” Mouse 1: “Yeah, sure smells like it.” Mouse 2: “Let me have a quick look…” Mouse 2 gets trapped and bumps into Mouse 1. Mouse 2: “Hey Mike, you’re trapped!” Mouse 1: “Oh Crap, George, I guess we are both trapped now!” Silence… Mouse 1: “Hey George?” Mouse 2: “Yeah Mike?” Mouse 1: “You think there’s anything to eat in here?” Mouse 2: “Sure smells like it…”
