Thank you, that was perfectly timed. I have been enquiring about this exact bow from Kev at RHA. I was most interested in how much the draw weight increased past 28", which you covered. I now have to consider whether it is worth so much more money than some of the other bows I have been looking at. Thanks again :)

I love your addition of the draw length f scale. Fun addition to comparisons. If I Mathed it correctly, that would have given my Nomad Horsebow a 0.69? (31 inch at 45 inch strung length?)
@ArminHirmer
@ArminHirmer 6 жыл бұрын
Length measured unstrung from nock to nock along the belly

Armin Hirmer ah. Ok. I'll have to check that measurement. Only ever bothered with strung and string lengths.

Hi, silly question i know.... i have a KGosprey (stunning bow) and shoot 50 pounds at 28 inches, i'm looking into a shorter horsebow as the osprey is 62-64? inches so quite a long bow. How do you think going for the same poundage in a shorter horsebow would be? I have dozens of arrows for my 50 pounder recurve as it's my only bow/weight and thought maybe going the same in the horsebow would mean i can use my arrows for both without having to pay for more in a lower weight ect. Not in a hurry of course as these aren't cheap bows so taking my time and researching different makes/models.

Really beautiful looking bow, but the price on them just went up to 628 Euro or $685.29. That's if you ordered directly through him. They are more through Cinnabar Bow and the other re-sellers. Would you say it's still worth the price for the experience you get or does that change things?
@ArminHirmer
@ArminHirmer 4 жыл бұрын
The bow is quite expensive, but it is a very good bow. Tricky to answer, it depends what you are looking for. I would still get one
@Nostaljikone
@Nostaljikone 4 жыл бұрын
Armin Hirmer It is trick. Cinnabar bow had a sunburst in stock for $800. So I wasn’t too sure. I trust your feedback though. Have you thought about trying the longer version?
@flipgrunefeld1628
@flipgrunefeld1628 4 жыл бұрын
I've got the 56 inch version, and it's a joy to shoot. As Armin says, the draw experience is one of its kind. Another archer at our club has the 54 inch version, but those 2 inch extra make it double ' smooth'. I think it's the best bow I've ever had in the 12 years i'm an archer. And I've shot all kind of bows in these years. For me, it is totally worth it's price. I'm now shooting thumb release at 32 inches with it and every shot feels good. So yeah it's expensive but it's totally worth it.

I would honestly watch these videos if they were at least little bit planed and edited. In a 30 min video there is at least 10 to 15 minutes of empty time.
@janne4518
@janne4518 4 жыл бұрын
It takes 3:40 minutes to get the bow out of the box and the sleeve and in that time all we have learned is that the bow is from the Simon's bow company which we already know from the title of the video. At 5 min mark we get the real first information about the bow. That is ~17% of the videos run time. I know youtube's algorithm favors long videos but still that in just incredible waste of time. There is just so many 30 - 45 second bits of empty airtime that I could point out.
