The main thing that some people fail to mention when teaching about the rapture is that we have to live HOLY. We cannot be a part of this world and expect to rise up with Jesus! Holiness should be lived by us everyday, by denying ourselves and picking up that cross ! 💯

@Salt Maker If we accept Jesus death on the cross as the perfect sin offer, an offer for us personally, if we repent, be baptised, we might not be perfect, but we are saved. Jesus took away all my sins: the past, the present and the future sins. Yes, you might feel like you are a dissapointment for Jesus, but be aware, that nobody can plug us out of the hand of God. Christ second coming is in two parts....First the rapture and then the stepping onto Mt of Olives. The rapture is not imminent..it can only happen on a specific Jewish holiday...Passover or Feast of Trumpets 🎺...He was born on Passover..The Passover Lamb....crucified on Passover...The Passover Lamb...and rose on The Feast of first fruits...and will come for Rapture on Passover (probably not) or Feast of Trumpets..."the last Harvest"..he will not be coming as The Passover lamb but as The Lion of Judah !! I want to thank God for his amazing grace, his unconditional love and his faithfulness into my life during all these years. Peace to you. Let no one deceive you. 1Thes. 4:14-15 NASB - "For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring WITH Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. For this we say to you BY the WORD OF THE LORD, that we who are alive and remain UNTIL THE COMING of the Lord, will NOT precede those who have fallen asleep." Those who are alive and remain in verse 15 are the same as in verse 17. They wait UNTIL THE COMING of the Lord. Those fallen asleep in Him, He brings WITH Him (vs 14) when He descends (vs 16). Those are SOULS that WERE in heaven (Rev. 6:9-11) with Him, that come down too, to be resurrected in spiritual bodies (1Cor. 15:42-44) & rise into the air (1Thes. 4:16-17). This FIRST resurrection (Rev. 20:4-6) of those that are Christ's (1Cor. 15:23), to everlasting life (John 5:29) in spiritual bodies (1Cor. 15:44, 51-52), isn't *UNTIL* THE COMING of the Lord!!! However you can't insert yourself into the text because that letter wasn't written to us ..It was written to THEM! "WE" that are alive and remain! 'WE" is Paul and the Thessalonians NOT YOU AND I.. 'WE" is a second person personal pronoun! Meaning PAUL AND THE THESSALONIAN CHURCH! Paul did not say THOSE who are alive and remain! So though you have the chronology scriptural correct it doesn't apply to us today! Its called Audience Relevance in biblical hermanuetical terms! To confirm that Jesus was coming in THEIR LIFETIME not ours, Paul told the Thessalonians specifically and clearly that Jesus was going to repay those people who were persecuting THEM when Jesus returned in flaming fire with his holy angels! 2 Thes.1:6-9 The persecutors of the Thessalonicans are not with us today unless we have some 2000 yr old persecutors! Placing Jesus return in the 1st century! How could Jesus repay the persecutors of the Thessalonians if He wasn't coming back in THEIR LIFETIME to repay them?

Since Paul didn’t know God’s timing, he lived and spoke as if it could happen in his lifetime. As with all early Christians, he believed the event was near (cf. Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, modern Dispensational Theology falls apart, and the pretrib removal of the Church falls with it.

I used to think the rapture would happen at the start of the tribulation period as well, but sections like Matthew 24 made me reconsider. I'm now more inclined to believe it will take place after the 6th seal judgment (beginning of supernatural judgments). Believers are exempt from God's wrath, but not man's.

You are correct IMO. I listened to this to hear a good pre trib argument because I like this channel. But around 7 minutes in it was very clear he confused God's wrath with man's wickedness. Another confusion is christ bride versus christ sheep. The sheep are the group of believers from all nations and tounges who's number no man can count. The bride is the remnant the believers who hold true to every word of God's commandments. The ones who may even be looked down upon by the broader church. They are called the overcomers in revelation the 144000. They will rule with christ.

Yep, the “cut short” in Matt 24: 22 can’t be explained in reasonable ways by Pre Trib or Post Trib. In Pre Trib nothing is “cut short”. They think they’re raptured outta here first thing. In Post Trib you go through the entire 7 years but you’re sealed or something. Only the Pre-Wrath theory incorporates the “cut short” seamlessly.

I just want to thank you for what you do. I grew up in church. I have a great Christian family. My parents are Christian school teachers and many of my uncles are pastors. But in my teenage years I fell away. Fast forward 10 years, unfortunately I work every Sunday. I haven't been to church since those teenage years. I sure took it for granted and was very selfish. The mark of the beast is implemented in the 1 world government 3.5 years exactly in the middle of the tribulation period for the last 42 months with antichrist worship. There has to be the start of the rebuilt Jewish temple which starts after the rapture whenever the man of sin makes the 7 year covenant with Israel (Dan. 9:27; Isaiah 28:15). The abomination of desolation committed by the man of sin is when he steps into the rebuilt Jewish temple and desires to be worshipped by every person on earth with the image idol and breaks the covenant with Israel and the Jewish people. Everything right now is no doubt dress rehearsal and preconditioning, people will have no doubt and make a willful decision to take it in the future.

It might be comforting but it is a false teaching. 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17. No one alive will be raptured before those who died in Christ. No secret rapture. The return of the Son of Man after the tribulation and darkening of the sun and moon. Matthew 24:29-31, Mark 13:24-27, Rev 14. Jesus warned us to prepare for this time of tribulation. Matt 24:21-22, Luke 17:25. Matt 24:9. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. The moon shall not give its light as stated in Mark 13:24. Only the father knows when the head of the month begins for the feast of trumpets. Tribulation is not God’s wrath. We are removed before his wrath.

Sandy Corasaniti, I agree with Tim Rawlings comment. Read 1st Corinthians 15:23 Paul describes and lists the Resurrections. verse 23 says there is a Resurrection at his coming. Would Not that be Jesus Christ 2nd coming to earth at that point in time. Later in verse 52 Paul writes the Resurrection is at the last Trump or trumpet of God. That last Trumpet can be found in Revelation 11:15 which is the 7th trumpet. Verse 18 then follows with the dead are judge and the saints are rewarded. Then God's Wrath can be poured out. This all happens "at the last day" for salvation to be granted to anyone, just as Jesus foretold in John 6:39,40,44&54 - "at the last day" Not last days. Don't be fooled by a smooth talking southern preacher, they're pro's at that.

Christ second coming is in two parts....First the rapture and then the stepping onto Mt of Olives. The 2nd dream-two angels were escorting me to the wedding feast with the body of Christ. There were long white set tables ready for a huge family reunion. I had seen many people & children hugging, laughing greeting each other. I then saw my mom who had passed many yrs ago then woke up. The 3rd was I was on a white horse in the sky right above the earth with many people on white horses as well. I looked down, & saw mountains slide into the sea, then I pulled out a sword & shouted "Jesus Reigns! then woke up. You are correct. He is promoting Dispensational Theology, which is less than 200 years old. The Capitol "C" Church, as we use the word today, is not found in the entire Book of Revelation. Individual church bodies in ancient Asia Minor are found. In Revelation 12:11-12 we find those under the blood of the Lamb. A person cannot be under the blood of the Lamb and not be a part of the New Covenant Church of Jesus Christ. The passage also proves at least part of the tribulation period is the wrath of Satan upon the people of God. Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, modern Dispensational Theology falls apart, and the pretrib removal of the Church falls with it.

Here's the thing, I always believed , Sincerely that christians would certainly go through the tribulation for 3 and a half years and we'd be beheaded for not taking the mark and of course we'd go straight to be with The Lord. The passage from Matthew and Luke is a bit out of place to show the rapture. But the connection appealed to is understandable. Rev 19:6-21 is more directly connected with Matthew 24 which Luke 17 expounds with the phrase "where the body is there the eagles (really vultures, eagles don't 'gather') will be gathered." NIV nailed it here: Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather. Same picture John reveals in Rev. 19. Matthew understands the Second Coming very well, but wrote next to nothing about the coming church which Jesus promises to build.

Revelation 6:9-11 9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? 11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. They were martyred for the faith. It doesn't imply that some were killed, it implies that all being referenced were killed. So where are the saints raptured? Granted, I'm sure that when the rapture happens, many who failed to believe beforehand will come to faith shortly after that moment. It's not on the 7th trumpet because that's during God's wrath and we are not appointed to His wrath. As a matter of fact, according to Revelation, it tells us His wrath is already come at the 6th seal. Rev. 6:16-17 16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? Talking to the Churches in Revelation 3, Jesus tells us that He will keep us from the hour of temptation, which can also be rendered "trial," which refers to a specific time period known as the Tribulation. The context given in 1 Thessalonians 4 and Revelation 3 gives a sense of comfort to the Church and lacks any details of the troubles we will face if, in fact, we had to go through the Tribulation in any way as the Church. Revelation 3:10 10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. And also to mention, Paul's reference to the last trump in 1 Thessalonians 4:16 was written around 56 A.D. and was likely never revealed the things that John was in 96 A.D. while exiled on Patmos. Therefore, it's rather unlikely seeing as Paul was never one to prophesy, for him to say that the "last trump" should refer to any judgment trumpets. Especially seeing as he was preaching that we are to escape such things that are to take place during the Tribulation. It's more likely that Paul was referencing a future Feast of Trumpets which makes sense if you're familiar with the scriptures surrounding it. Not saying this is dogmatically correct, but it's the most Biblically accurate and reasonable conclusion. Another thing is... if the purpose of the Tribulation is to compel people into salvation, the Church is already saved, so why would we need to go through the Tribulation if the Tribulation is for the salvation of mainly the Jews and those who rejected Christ? However, God does say "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways." There's much more I could give as far as reasons for the pre-Tribulation rapture being accurate, but I don't want to stir up too much commotion. Just thought I'd throw this out there for thought, fellowship is always welcome in my opinion.

I had a dream yesterday that I was raptured. I broke through the earths atmosphere. Then as I was waking up I think saw my own self where I was in real life and then woke up. end times...are not now or in your future. The end times were the times when the old covenant was about die and transfer to the new covenant, where Christ is now King. the old covenant brought death, the new covenant brings life. Here is what the writer of Hebrews said about the last days or end times, they are synonymous. Hebrews 1 (KJV 1900) GOD, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; See the last days mentioned in verse 2 above? When the apostles and other believers in Christ believed and followed what they were taught they were given eternal life. They went from the death of Adam( who was told by God "the day you eat this fruit you will die") to obtaining the resurrected life the day they believe in Christ and His finished works. You and I are offered the same gift. Everything about the old covenant promises are carried into the new covenant and are now yours in Christ. All of the feast days have now been fulfilled in Christ who now lives in you (contrary to what the message from Jimmy teaches). The last trump has already blown 1900+ years ago. That is when Christ was able, once again, to come and stay with you, the reason He left Adam was reversed in Christ( we went from the death Adam to the life of Christ). Here is a good verse to dream on, I do it too, things we can't see are more real than the temporary things we can. John 14:23-24 (KJV 1900) 23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. This is just embarrassing. At around 11:00 on Evans is discussing the falling away (rebellion in other versions) which he redefines as “the rapture” (@ 12:10). Also, the “that day” in vs 3 refers to Christ gathering the church in vs 1 above. So, to make clear what Evans is saying here I’ll reword the phrase as he claims it should be. Let no one deceive you … “for the rapture [that day] will not come unless the rapture [falling away] comes first.” Redefining “falling away” as rapture renders the passage as nonsense. The passage 2 Thess 2: 1-8 is clearly showing that the church will be on earth at the midpoint of the tribulation.

Rapture is wishful thinking on behalf of those afraid to go through hardship and possibly death for our heavenly father. I feel it shows a lack of faith and trust yet look at what Jesus went through for us. The end of our physical body is just a moment compared to eternity. He is saying that if you are a believer before the Tribulation begins, you will be raptured up to heaven with Jesus. Once the tribulation begins, it will be very difficult to become a believer but there will be some who come to know Jesus during that time. These are the believers who will be beheaded. There are many different beliefs on the rapture/2nd coming. It is hard to wrap your mind around all of them and I think many of them have valid points. I believe there are so many different interpretations of this because it hasn’t yet happened so we don’t have the benefit of looking back and confirming what is true. However, the issue of the rapture is a secondary issue. Ones salvation does not hinge on it. Educate yourself on these things but let your main focus be on serving our God and remaining faithful to Him whether we are raptured or not.
