From what I could tell Wildcard did not actually want to put the Fenrir on the map after it went from modded to official but they caved after much fan pressure. Its argued that they put it as a reward for the final boss fight as a troll and middle finger to the players. Its really a mid game tame in the old version of the map. Still have a soft spot for it despite the Shadowmane being superior in every way.

And I say F in the chat for Baron's Island and SE files gone. My first survivor I named Columbus, and then at one point I lost him when I found out what happenes when I try to upload a guy from one ARK to another in one go. So then I made Columbus II, to continue his legacy. Then I lost him, and then decided to wipe all my singleplayer files. Next, Columbus III showes up to the party. And like the others, he got deleted as well (I didn't know what would happen when I exit the game after Ascending and then boot the game back up and download him to another ARK). And so now I've got Columbus IV to finish what the others have started. As of me making this comment, I just beat the Overseer on Alpha difficulty for the fith or something time in total, and now Im on Scorched Earth. All in all, I know the feel of losing a save file in a game, my fellow ARK player. My condolences for your lost files.

For unnofficial players, I can see the Fenrir being a rare tame. For official players we had tons of them, and of course it was the most useless tame except for 1 feature, it's only useful feature was it could be as a fridge for Wyvern Milk and Nameless Venom, which on official you cannot pit them in refrigerators, but on unnofficial wasn't a problem because most people just used mods. Edit, you can't transfer Island Boss heads to other maps, so they way he was getting this fenrir is impossible and is technically a failed run, any nonmodded ark players using this video as a guide will be confused and unable to acquire Fenrir by watching this video.

@@baronwuztaken quick google search showed me that many people are complaining that titano is losing torpor from cannon shots. so either its happening and people think its a bug or people are just ill informed. but titano losing torpor seems to be a common thing. since my titanos always lost torpor i just assumed that was the norm. and if i did it solo, even if every shot hit, running to cannon, loading it, shooting, then repositioning always took too long and the torpor was lost again.

the game basically evolved(no pun intended) past the primitive stage and now it's very advanced with a bunch of futuristic space things, basically they made the pve better but pvp worse(a lot of things power gap everything else), still a good game tho

fun fact against the dragon, many people use therizinos because a long time ago ark devs thought herbivores should take half damage from fire (because "they have tough hide" ????) so theris are very good at not dying and still have good dmg

I know herbivores take less damage but healing them is harder(cakes), also, since I had so many shadowmanes I didn't bother taming anything else edit: the tough hide thing seems stupid, a wooly rhino would burn like a rainforest 🤣🤣
