I think there is still some hope for crafting. I really like the idea of crafting from primal to makeshift to regular, and also the ability to upgrade/swap weapons at weapon stations. I think they could mix it to where you can find crafting items along with stink sacks and such from fish/frogs to give you the ability to craft weapons at weapon stations without spending gold, and also maybe use ink sacks and such to make customizing bows/grenades/snipers and for smg, shotgun, ar, pistol, they can just let you upgrade rarity and/or swap shotgun/ar/smg/pistol type.

crafting was going in a really good direction at the end of chapter 2 when you could swap your guns around (pump to lever and such) but now its just completely gone

Man I remember trying so hard to grind for Golden Agent Peely. I tried so hard but I didn't make it. In fact I wasn't even close I only got to level 293. Probs to whoever was able to get him cuz in order to achieve something like that you would either have to buy a 100 levels at the start of the season or pretty much play every single day non stop to grind EXP.
