the equivalent word for Hebrew "Amr" would be "Logos", ie., Word, Prince/principle, Lord/lawgiver/law, Reason. It therefore is definitely messianic. It was me who notified you about Kabsha meaning "sheep"

Louis, this is huge. I had no idea that Amr meant Logos. That is hugely helpful! Thank you for the Kabsha one, I had assumed it was Murad but glad to know it was you.

@@IslamicOrigins Remember - "Logos" is uniquely Greek idea. The Jews didn't have a conception of Logos until they were Hellenised in 3rd century BC, and even then, only as through "a glass darkly", until John wrote his Gospel, referring to Jesus the Christ and Son of God as the Logos. Also, many syncretist Jewish philosophers (Philo, for eg.) wrote in Greek. Nevertheless, as "the Word" is an ungainly but necessary english-language contrivance for the broad concept contained in the one word "Logos", so too is AMR in later Hebrew (Aramaic too, and then in Judeo-Arabic)

I also think someone was thinking about High Priest Eli. The Shia have this saying: There is no youth like Ali, there is no sword like the Zulfiqar The Zulfiqar is a sword with two curved blades attached to one hilt. ie. a double edged sword. This prophecy was given to Eli ( Derived from the Hebrew root עָלָה (alah), meaning "to ascend" or "to go up." ) 1 Samuel 2: Although good will be done to Israel, *no one in your family line will ever reach old age.* 33Every one of you that I do not cut off from serving at my altar I will spare only to destroy your sight and sap your strength, and all your descendants will die in the prime of life. 34“ ‘And what happens to your two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, will be a sign to you-they will both die on the same day. 35I will raise up for myself a faithful priest, who will do according to what is in my heart and mind. *I will firmly establish his priestly house, and they will minister before my anointed one always.* 36Then everyone left in your family line will come and bow down before him for a piece of silver and a loaf of bread and plead, “Appoint me to some priestly office so I can have food to eat.” ’ ” In the article: Priest and King or Priest-King in 1 Samuel 2:35 by Karl Deenick, he says: However, the unpointed text presents another curious possibility: “And I will raise up for myself a faithful priest, he will do just as is in my heart and my soul. *And I will build for him a sure house and my anointed one will walk before me all the days.”* (In other words, a Priest-king like Melchizedek, one person, not two people. The priest who carries a sword? There is a similar ambiguity in these verses in Zechariah where it is sometimes translated as though it is two people, and sometimes as one: Zechariah 6:11“Take silver and gold, make an ornate crown and set it on the head of *Joshua (Jesus) the son of Jehozadak (Derived from two Hebrew words: יְהוָה (YHWH, meaning "the LORD") and צָדַק (tsadaq, meaning "to be just" or "righteous")*, the high priest. 12“Then say to him, ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts, “Behold, a man whose name is Branch, for He will branch out from where He is; and He will build the temple of the LORD. 13“Yes, it is He who will build the temple of the LORD, and *He who will bear the honor and sit and rule on His throne. Thus, He will be a priest on His throne, and the counsel of peace will be between the two offices.”*’ 14“Now the crown will become a reminder in the temple of the LORD to Helem, Tobijah, Jedaiah and Hen the son of Zephaniah. 15“Those who are far off will come and build the temple of the LORD.” Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you. And it will take place if you completely obey the LORD your God.

My thoughts on the 4 craftsmen. They are spoken of in Zechariah 1 and the details of what's said there is very interesting. 5 Where are your ancestors now? And the prophets, do they live forever? 6 But did not my words and my decrees, which I commanded my servants the prophets, overtake your ancestors? “Then they repented and said, ‘The Lord Almighty has done to us what our ways and practices deserve, just as he determined to do.’” 12 Then the angel of the Lord said, “Lord Almighty, how long will you withhold mercy from Jerusalem and from the towns of Judah, which you have been angry with these seventy years?” 13 So the Lord spoke kind and comforting words to the angel who talked with me. 14 Then the angel who was speaking to me said, “Proclaim this word: This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘I am very jealous for Jerusalem and Zion, 15 and I am very angry with the nations that feel secure. I was only a little angry, but they went too far with the punishment.’ What if....the above is referencing WW2? 16 “Therefore this is what the Lord says: ‘I will return to Jerusalem with mercy, and there my house will be rebuilt. And the measuring line will be stretched out over Jerusalem,’ declares the Lord Almighty. 17 “Proclaim further: This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘My towns will again overflow with prosperity, and the Lord will again comfort Zion and choose Jerusalem.’” Is not the above promise exactly what happened after WW2? Four Horns and Four Craftsmen 18 Then I looked up, and there before me were four horns. 19 I asked the angel who was speaking to me, “What are these?” He answered me, “These are the horns that scattered Judah, Israel and Jerusalem.” Note it mentions all 3, each scattered by: Israel/ Assyria, Judah/Babylon, Jerusalem/Rome and its cohorts 20 Then the Lord showed me four craftsmen. 21 I asked, “What are these coming to do?” Notice here....only Judah is mentioned now. The 4 horns that scattered the 3, are now only after Judah? Also a development due to WW2 and their returning to the land. He answered, “These are the horns that scattered Judah so that no one could raise their head, but the craftsmen have come to terrify them and throw down these horns of the nations who lifted up their horns against the land of Judah to scatter its people.” As for ( 4 craftsmen/iron workers ) there is also a group of 4 that were raised up after WW2. Its called the Middle East Quartet. Quote: "The Quartet consists of the United Nations, the United States, the European Union, and Russia. The group was established in Madrid in 2002, recalling the Madrid Conference of 1991, as a result of the escalating conflict in the Middle East." What comes to mind here is, "the Lord raised up judges" Another interesting thing on this timeline....in 2018, Judah had been back in the land 70 years. To celebrate this, Trump declared Jerusalem as Israel's capital and moved the american embassy there. More, its in the area of the valley of Jehoshaphat, were we are told the nations would be gathered. The armies of the nations wont fit there....but their embassies sure will. Why do I speak of these things? This.....11 And they reported to the angel of the Lord who was standing among the myrtle trees, “We have gone throughout the earth and found the whole world at rest and in peace.” 12 Then the angel of the Lord said, “Lord Almighty, how long will you withhold mercy from Jerusalem and from the towns of Judah, which you have been angry with these seventy years?” I knew if I was on to something back in 2013, I would have to wait until 2018 to find out. Trump moving our Embassy to Jerusalem and declaring Jerusalem the capital of Israel. On Israel's 70th year back in the land... With all things considered....and especially with everything that has happened since, someone is going to have to show me with scriptures that Zechariah 1 isnt talking about the modern return of Judah to take back the land of Israel. And if it is talking about the modern return.....the 4 horns and 4 craftsmen/iron workers are also a modern phenomenon? Interestingly, in the frame of the Lord raising up judges.... What were judges? But savior's/messiah's We are told that Judah is His scepter and that Ephraim is His helmet. Helmet means protector, safe place, even fortress. Judah is His lawgiver but from Ephraim comes His warriors. Ephraim, son of Joseph and his egyptian wife. Adopted by Jacob Israel and given the position of firstborn over all of his father Joseph's brothers. with the choice gifts of the land and everything in it, and with the favor of Him who dwelt in the burning bush. May these rest on the head of Joseph and crown the brow .....of the prince.... of his brothers. ( Ephraim is the prince? ) 17 His majesty ( Ephraim replaced Rueben ) is like a firstborn bull, and his horns are like those of a wild ox. With them he will gore the nations, even to the ends of the earth. Such are the myriads of Ephraim, and such are the thousands of Manasseh.” Ephraim as inheritor of the Abrahamic promise, first born son of Joseph AND IsraelJacob, Ephraim the father of many nations. Its no stretch that from his nations, come the 4 craftsmen who terrify the horns? Zech. 1:21 I said, “What are these coming to do?” And he said, “These are the horns which have scattered Judah so that no man lifts up his head; but these craftsmen have come to terrify them, to throw down the horns of the nations who have lifted up their horns against the land of Judah in order to scatter it.” Are these things not exactly what is going on today? I would really enjoy others thoughts on this....I have put it out there before but no one will touch it. I understand but....is it really so out there? Love and prayers J.A.

Very very insightful! I'm wondering, could there perhaps be a connection between "Saracen" & "Sicarri"? It would make a lot of sense as the various factions of "Judaizers" from the time of the New Testament never disappeared but continue to regroup and re-emerge. It's very fascinating as it goes to show that their interpretation of "Messiah" is as varied as the number of groups that have popped up. I guess some have truly been lost to history at this present moment 😮 The LORD bless you and keep you, your work in combination with Dr Jay Smith, Odon Lafontaine, Lloyd De Jongh & of course Saint Murad is going to be unstoppable in the 2025 and beyond! 🙏🙏🙏

Sicarii has a fully Indo-European etymology. Though the etymology is less certain, Saracen or Latin Saraceni is most likely from Semitic. The consonants S-C-R vs S-R-C not being in the same order is also an indicator that it is unlikely that both terms are related.

5:23 I've heard Melchizedek phrased as "Melki Zedek." My understanding is that would translate to "king of righteousness" or "king of justice." As an aside, the numerology of the "four craftsman" contrasted with the "four horsemen of the apocalypse" is intriguing. 21:05 I don't know if it's been confirmed, but that would be crazy if the Farsi connection was made to Pharisee. Additionally, my Indian relative has said Indians refer to Zoroastrians as Parsi or Parsis... Farsi, Pharisee, Parsi -> Persians?

I believe 'farooq' refers to 'redemption' ... the act of purchasing back something that has been sold or pawned. Jesus is 'the redeemer' as well as 'the saviour'. Umar ibn Khatab is credited with 'redeeming' (purchasing back) the Holy Land from the Romans, hence his title as the 'Redeemer-Farooq'. Umar redeemed it for the Children of Abraham.

Happy new year. Maybe a topic to consider, I recently heard of "Bukharan Jews", Jews who have lived in Uzbekistan for over 2000 years, one of the cities they were concentrated in was Samarkand. Interestingly one of the oldest dated Quran manuscripts the "Samarkand Quran" and the most authoritative Hadith compiler Imam Bukhari all come from this little region. Do you have any thoughts as to why there is so much action in this region, perhaps you may know of any records of Bukharan Jews or Jewish converts in 7 - 8 A.C Uzbekistan. Cheers

@IslamicOrigins apologies if you have covered this already ... I read this on wiki the other day "Abu ʿIsa was a Jewish Prophet who lived in the 8th century CE in Persia. He founded the Isawiyya movement that led a military revolt in the city of Isfahan. The timing of this event is disputed, but it is thought to have occurred as early as the reign of the caliph Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan and as late as that of Marwan II (early to mid-eighth century CE). Eventually, he was killed by al-Mansur near Ray." .... Seems like all the key players in one place. Also the name Abu Isa is interesting for a Jew, lastly often the Abu(Father) is taken literally however it may be a lineage name e.g my Grandmother's last name is Hovanesian which translates to Son of John or in arabic its Ibn Yahya, however no man in her past 3 generations is named John, hence it is likely a name that dates to her ancestors conversion to Christianity. :)

This is a good question. The camel is mentioned so prominently in the story that it sounds like the slaughter of the camel had some symbolic significance. If the Persian shah is coming to visit, and the polite thing to do is to slaughter a camel for the occasion, I guess that Iyas had plenty of slaves and servants who could prepare the camel meat for the shah and his retinue.
