90s and early 00s were the most amazing years for music. you had hip hop, rap, classic rock, heavy rock, goth rock, metal, nu-metal, grunge, post-grunge, alternative, r&b, trip hop, pop, uk garage, electro, dance, trance, jungle, ALL and more on the radio and MTV. The choice of genres, moods, styles, was astonishing and there was at least one band/song/album from each genre that was undeniable, regardless of one's favorite type of music. so much talent and diversity of sounds. what do we have now? 3 or 4 genres at best, the same 10 artists promoted everywhere, lack of talent, creativity and just a degeneration of everything pure and enjoyable about music.
