After seeing your tier list I watched your videos to see if Survivors in your region played differently and the only thing i noticed was that no one was throwing baby rage Disconnects and giving up on the 1st hook 🥲I'm jealous of your lobbies

because of his rating it is rare to see such as player I watch such as people sometimes when I play but Asian people think dbd is like a serious game as same as fps game rather than casual party game maybe it comes from the differences of our stance for playing of game
As you have said, many western players have high expectations of the killer player's skill (perhaps those expectations are unrealistic). Likewise, there are also often some unrealistic expectations on survivors. Wraith and Ghost Face are often rated quite low by western players, but I believe that those placements rely on assumptions about the survivors. More than just communicating the activities of the survivors within the team, I feel these placements assume that a survivor team can correctly use "clock callouts." I do not know if clock callouts are popular in Japan, or if it's possible that Japan has a different system that accomplishes the same purpose. While using the clock callout system, we imagine that the map is overlaid with an analog clock of 12 digits. In these imaginary layers, the middle of the map and the middle of the clock are the same point. If the map allows it to be possible, then we say that the characteristic building of a map is the the 12 o'clock direction. Then, all degrees/radians of the map can be discussed in terms of the nearest hour hand. If you're close to the center of the map, you can describe your location as "mid," short for "middle." In this system, stealth killers are disadvantaged because one of their primary tools is negated. I am unaware if there is a similar system used in Japan. In a common match, even a strong Survive with Friends group is unlikely to use this system. They would rather talk about work, love, or hobbies. Still, it seems to me that many western tier lists behave as if using "clock callouts" is normal behavior. In most groups, one is fortunate if their teammates correctly communicate that a killer is leaving for a new target and the general direction the killer was seen walking towards. Of the killers who have stealth without a lullaby or ambient noise (Wraith, Myers, Dredge, Pig, and Ghost Face; also perhaps Skull Merchant if one feels generous to the woman), Zawashi only placed Ghost Face at or lower than the ranking given to Ghost Face by western players. I believe that this is based in a western player's unconscious assumption that a team of survivors is communicating the killer's activity, location, and anticipated location with more effort than what can be expected in a public match.
I have a question, not sure if you will read it. I heard that tunneling and camping is very common in Japan and pretty much accepted and expected. But I get really curious, is it seen as fun or a flaw in the game that could be improved? I'm SA and here tunneling and camping *is common* BUT people actively speek up against it and try to have a game where the strategy for killers to win isn't quickly focusing one player out of the game, so everyone can play for longer and have more fun.

間違ってたらすまん I don't think I'm wrong. But in Japan, it's fun for killers to aim for total annihilation and for survivors to aim for total escape. They are grinding their own skills with emphasis on overthrowing the enemy, not together in the whole match. If you turn off the camp/tunnel in such a situation, only the survivors can enjoy it Killers who are already competitive, but about to lose, play tied-up and can't even win, and that's no fun!

@@yhyh2632 Thanks for the reply, if you mean your english is wrong, it isn't! It was really easy to read and understand. I think in the current version of the game killers can need to tunnel to win some matches, but I think the game could have more perks that get stronger when you hook different survivors, in the style of Grim Embrace (very popular for killers who don't tunnel), so it's not making the killers weaker, but making non-tunnel killer playstyles better, this way you don't have to feel tied up, as it's more beneficial for you. If a player gets tunneled early in the game, they don't get to interact with many parts of the match, other than chasing, and it can be unfun. As the killer player you might also not interact with all of the survivors when going for a tunneling match, as the last guy could have been hooked 0 times and doing generators the entire time and you only find them when you go for the last kill. I'm really curious what changes the developers have planned for the game!
