As someone who's been playing classical piano for 19 years, it disappoints me how many other classically trained musicians will scoff at this and think it's unfair... Here's the point, it has functionality beyond what a normal keyboard layout can do because of the sequencing in relation to the placement of objects like that. "It's just pressing buttons" yeah, well so is playing piano. And playing guitar is just holding down some strings and strumming. The only thing that matters is not what tool you use, but how you use it, and how expressive it is. This is common sense.

I could so use this as a coffee table in my living room!

This is fantabulous, My son would have a ball with this, making music. Looks like something that could be used to bring, "Total Sound Resonance," to help awaken the masses. WOW truly. Thanks to the Special Being for sharing this with me, too.

A 21st century way to produce 20th century 8-bit music. I can tell the amount of work put into it and maybe its potential, but it still seems like a novelty invention at best.

Maybe have an imprint button that will take the elements and represent them as gui icons. Then you can scroll around a vast surface, both local and remote. The system would guide you with correctly placing the elements back

As an arpeggiator, all it would have to be is a note-sender to the other synths. Any sounds would then be coming out of the other instruments...that's why they came up with MIDI a million years ago. It's still limited to 16 channels (tracks), though. (MIDI, that is)
@m3ntalmonkey16 жыл бұрын
amazing!!
