I think so much of Codys success now is him working all those tiny shows between leaving wwe and aew starting. My man worked every promotion that asked and every night gave farewell speeches to those fans. That grassroots rebuilding of his credibility at you 40 person show and still being incredibly nice and personable as he is, you cant help but like the guy. He was driving the one driving AEW houses. The Elite took ROH to new heights and then Cody took it up another notch. Still cant believe Tony Khan let him go.

Tear down the pillars of the WWE, Starting with a face roman reigns. And ending with (stay with me now, because this one is weird) R-Truth! See, I know that sounds ridiculous, but hear me out: it has been established online that cody Rhodes sees R-Truth as his white whale. His final boss. And it's not like some friendly competition thing or anything like that. Nah. Cody wants to kick his ass for some inexplicable reason, AND HAS TOLD HIM SO!! TO HIS FACE!!! And he's apparently felt this way for a while, too! And how funny would it be, if truth continued to think it was just cody ribbing him, until his heel turn finally convinces him that he'd been dead serious the whole time. From here we see a whole other side of truth, where he stops clowning around and takes the match seriously, and we find that this motherfucker is a beast R-truth! Of all people! Gives cody his most brutal match! Like full on 5 star shit! And now we see what cody saw that made him his final boss! But he can't beat him! It’s a great vid but what exactly is WWE supposed to be afraid of here? When the company releases a young wrestler (especially a wrestler that has only ever worked for WWE) they want that wrestler to go make a name for themself, go learn new styles, grow up, make money and GET OVER. Then come back and make even more money with the biggest company in the world. Cody did it perfectly! So did Drew McIntyre and so did Bobby Lashley. Jumping to AEW isn’t gonna do it because they don’t exactly have the greatest track record of polishing up the former WWE talent. So go to Japan, go to the indies, maybe go to TNA or AEW for 6 months at a time but make a name for yourself and then you’ll get the offer to come back! Why would WWE be afraid of that? Cody came back and star and then became an even bigger star with/for the company! Wrestlers like Cody, Drew and Bobby are the template for every wrestler that gets “future endeavoured.”

To eventually find out it was the whole reason he left and did the indies and the REAL story was just like he stated, us fans just looked at it as sad. That whole situation I would of never imagined would happen to a Rhodes.🤷🏼😳😖 Also, the fact he was able to create his own path to ultimately perform on the top stage for the biggest prize in the industry is almost an impossible feat to accomplish. It's already a nearly impossible from even top tier WWE guys with long-term careers in WWE. Realistically 🥂 for everything post WWE that he accomplished prior to his return was all amazing un it's own right. Bullet Club, NJPW run, ROH run, bringing his wife to have a full roll in those companies to even being a part of creating a whole pro wrestling company from scratch that is now viable competition to WWE. Just purely amazing and admirable to accomplish just those separately but everything he has accomplished to now is unbelievable & purely unimaginable. If Roman had real heat with Cody, he wouldn't want to drop the belt for him. Roman has power in the lockeroom, it's known that he kicks guys out when he doesn't like them, like Enzo Amore.

@@EliteWalkThroughsYou should probably come up with a better example since Roman was a top guy and NOBODY liked Enzo at that time

The fact that this video was taken down before now resurrected WWE definitely have alot of skeletons in their closet. Listen carefully the "grandson" of Dusty Rhodes. Therefore, what I was saying before about that underage pregnancy and Dustin being too young, so to avoid shame, Dusty Rhodes took it upon himself to claim the illegitimate grandson as his biological son. That's why that promo The Final Boss The Rock made on Cody Rhodes, was NOT a coincidence. "You wonder y u are 20 yrs younger than everyone in ur fam, cos you were a mistake" cos Dustin got Cody mom pregnant when both where still young and underage pregnancy was a taboo back then

Lol please tell me this is a joke, you can't be serious... I don't know what you mean by "grandson" of Dusty Rhodes.. If you talking about the "Grandson of a plumber" thing, Dusty was called the Son of a plumber.. so that's why they say Cody is the Grandson of a plumber. And you do know that Cody's parents were married for years before he was born right? So you really think Dustin had a baby with his step mom while being underage? And don't get me started on that dumb Rock promo that made no sense.. He was trying to say Cody was a mistake because his brother and sister way older than him, but he forgot Cody has a younger sister. And why would Cody being way younger mean he's mistake? The Rock has kids with a big age gap, I'm sure he don't thing his kids are mistakes
