Thank you for the video, real pictures, such as all the garbage, so that local officials can fix it.

Woah Naomi, that's a very long walk in the afternoon. As a Thai myself, I can't bear the hot and humids on the cloudy day and looks like rain. Thank you for your support to the local. I really appreciate it. ❤Subscribed !!!

The bridge you are walking on is Rama VI Bridge. It is the first bridge spanning the Chao Phraya River. The bridge is on the Southern Line of the national railway. The original bridge was built during the reign of King Rama VI and opened in 1925 during the reign of King Rama VII. It was destroyed by aerial bombing during World War II in 1945. After the war, the bridge was reconstructed and reopened in 1952.
7:48 no price for motorcycles because motorcycles are not allowed to get in. The instant ginger tea has no-sugar version too. It tastes quite as good as the fresh one. And it’s convenient. Easy way of how to pick mangosteen. Gently squeeze the shell, just a little. if the shell is soft, it’s good. If the shell is hard, it’s old/rotten. But sometimes the sellers don’t allow you to do that.

A hundred years ago, there were no cars or roads yet. People traveled by river, so when you walk through an area near the river, it is an old town with small narrow roads like this. When automobiles were invented, modern roads were constructed, the new city shifted inland.

Do you like visiting waterfalls? In Prachinburi Province, there are many places.
If you have free time. i would like you to come to Fashion Island & Phromanade, Kwan-Riam floating market, and Siam Amazing Park. They are in the east zone of Bangkok. You can see another other side of bangkok.

The Bang Sue area right now is still on the outside of city, but in the next half century as all intercity vans and buses, commuter, long distance, and high speed trains move their terminals to there, and the area surrounding the central station is developed, it will become a new downtown.

Most ordinary Thais usually never sell anything too expensive or overcharging their customers. They are quit honest and sell with modest profit margins, unlike most high street vendors.

The locals are everywhere. That's what makes them "local." But what does "...the rest of mu life" mean?

Khao San Road is definately NOT local... to get local you need to go outside of BKK at least 50km
@Naomi_NoMad7 ай бұрын
That's what I said in the video... I shot it directly on the Nonthaburi Border in a local area. Don't think you need to get out for 50 km to find local areas though
@kyogofurahashi7 ай бұрын
not local? 90% of residents around khaosan rd and samsen district r thai nationals! don't get more local than that! unlike most suburbs of places like London, birmingham, paris where foreigners running amog!
@plasticlove99317 ай бұрын
50 km?? That's like you go to NakhonPrathom or Chachoengsao which I think it's too far. As I'm Bangkokian and I live in suburban of Bangkok, Latkrabang district, just around 10-20 km from the innercity. it is enough for foreigners who want to experience the local places.
@lem59597 ай бұрын
West side of BKK is already local don't need to go 50km😅 just cross Rama8 bridge and come to Thonburi side if you want to experience local

18:20 The height of buildings are regulated by the size of the road and the setback distance. If you go to any BTS station on Sukhumvit road and look down the tracks, you can see the V shape made by all the buildings.

Keep away from tourist areas and tourist restaurants keep you more safe from bad food experience and saves you money. Thai dishes isn't spicy, wrong expectation do that people exaggerating a little. Can't believe my eyes when i see McDonald's filled with tourists who paied expensive tickets, travel a long way to eat western fast-food 😂 seen same thing on the French riviera.

You have access to the real Bangkok living area, in fact Thai people have been cultivating garbage disposal for more than 30 to 40 years and Thai people have started to have more knowledge and higher education, but it is still not successful. 100% Some Thai people are natural and apologize for using impolite words.Bangkok. There are actually only 2-3 million people in Bangkok. I'm not sure if the latest population registration information is correct or not. Most of the people living in Bangkok are people from other provinces in Thailand and people who come to work in Bangkok from These four neighboring countries, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam, have very bad garbage disposal behavior. People in Bangkok are really kind people, not expensive from other provinces in Thailand, and very disciplined.
