@@theem4231 i think the main reason why gold is the hardest because of established key/vault locations of other vaults. red = key in puzzle near spawn, so only vault really needs to be searched for blue = key under timer, only vault is searched for green = hard to find key (almost always in hidden pathways) but easiest vault (near spawn) gold = both key and vault are hard to find. plus key = lava parkour it's very interesting lmao i love sands of time so much

Imo build mart is fine, but if it was to be taken out they NEED to replace it with another building game. Minecraft mini game tournaments have always been favoured towards PVP players. Build Mart is the only building game, while Battle Box, Skybattle and SG are all PVP games. Any ideas for a redstone game?

I think they should replace build mart with speed builders. Speed builders is a hypixel game and it’s basically where you have to memorize a build, then it disappears and you have to recreate it to the best of your abilities. The person who has the least accurate build gets eliminated. I think they could make a cool mcc twist to the game and make it very focused around teamwork with 6 rounds cuz it’s a very fast game. I dunno tho but I hate build mart right now. It’s really boring to watch and doesn’t really involve any skill, it’s more luck based. But I agree that mcc needs to have another building game wether it’s them updating build mart or creating a whole new game.

I disagree, Build Mart definitely isn’t luck based. Every team gets the exact same builds and access to the same materials. It requires lots of teamwork, a good memory, and decent game sense. In my opinion it’s a great game that allows for teams that aren’t very PVP/movement oriented to show off their skills in game knowledge and communication. MCC is a Minecraft tournament- not a Minecraft PVP tournament.

Creator of the post at 12:57 here, thought I'd drop in a few tips as to understanding what that post is measuring. Notice in the title of the post it says THEIR next MCC, not THE next MCC, so for example, the case of Michael being teamed with Jordan for MCC 12 and winning his next MCC, MCC 15, counts as a point for Jordan, even though Michael had missed out on MCC 13 and 14. Another thing is that may have been confusing was players being teamed again and winning that MCC, take Pete and HBomb in MCC 6 and 7. Even though they both lost MCC 6 but won MCC 7, they both get one point each as their previous teammate still won their next MCC. Solidarity and Martyn would get 2 points each based off of that.

i think build mart is a very good concept but as a viewer its just not the same as the other games. the issue with the "PW was removed bc it was boring, BM should be removed for the same reason" argument is that Noxite stated multiple times that there were "fundamental issues" with PW that got it removed, not the complaints. You hit the nail on the head with why I don't like to watch buildmart! I think its a good designed game but I keep getting frustrated because the people I'm watching get stuck. It was a very similar feeling to how I felt when they couldn't make a jump in parkour warrior and time ran out before they got passed a part. I've also seen another comparison with parkour warrior going around where it is not as fun to watch because you know which team is going to win when the game is picked, which I have to agree with for the most part.

I feel like if there was to be a build mart update, I would say lower the build count by 2-4 builds, but increase the complexity and add items that require mob drops to craft like brewing stands, item frames, things like those to add an element for those who prefer anything over building.

Wdym by lower build count? If you mean amount of plots, there’s only 3 so you can’t really remove 3-4 of them. If you meant total amount of builds to complete, they’re infinite so you can’t remove that. It depends on how fast you complete one, there’s no limit to how many you can complete

6:55 In regards to how good EthosLab is, I would say he’s not amazing at PvP, but his game sense is impeccable - I watched him complete his Decked Out (a very similar game to Sands of Time where ravagers are running rampant on the map lol, created by Tango Tek) runs in season 7 of Hermitcraft and it’s absolutely fascinating to watch him play (the man was able to track the ravagers around the map just by sound, and Etho also has a lot of experience with creating his own minigames, so that helps a lot too just with his general game sense). I’d love to watch him play SOT and MCC in general. Also, for anyone who doesn’t know Etho, I highly recommend his content! He’s one of the oldest Minecraft creators (his current single-player Let’s Play series has been running for 8+ years on the same world) and has been credited with some monumental inventions in redstone (my man has a door and clock named after him lol). I remember it hit me recently when I was watching back some of his older content how big of an influence he was/is when he casually mentioned that he was in a call with one of the devs at Mojang and they asked what he wanted in the 1.17 update lol. I also think it would be very funny to watch him compete with some of the ‘younger’ Minecraft creators who are huge fans of his - for example, HBomb once played on the same server as Etho and said he had to stop himself from fanboying lol, and I know Fundy and Tubbo are huge fans as well.

So even if the pov I'm watching has swearing, I'm not counting it if they muted (ex. fruit will mute to swear on occasion since he's usually in pg teams. Finn also swore a fair amount while muted when he was teamed with BBH for MCC 16.)

The heights at about 7:25 are not really accurate. Niki Nihachu is at least 5'8, maybe 5'9, Sapnap is NOT 5'10, no way, he's either 5'9 or 5'8. George is 5'8 and has confirmed this. Tommy is not even in this list but he's 6'2, and I can't find Puffy either, but she's really short also

If we are going that Quig is the 2nd best current player, I will agree with you 100%. If you are saying he’s the 2nd best all time player (I think we all collectively agree that Pete is the best) then I am going to have an issue called Technoblade.
