I worked in KSA from 2014-2019 and utilities were included at both compounds, only paid for my router (6 months package) and my apartment in my final year had free wifi. I saved thousands by getting spa/ beauty maintenance packages, restaurant, sightseeing, hotel stays etc vouchers on Cobone/ Groupon. Just a suggestion, check this out if they still offer it hey ❤️

Hi Khay 👋. I'm currently in Dubai but working in a hotel. I am considering going to Cambodia to teach, as I complete my degree, then return to Dubai after several years. In terms of your personal experience, is studying and working as a teacher a good idea, because getting time off for your exams seems like something that may not be easy to get, especially because I study through Unisa and exams are often during the week? Although I'm in my final yr. I will continue on to do my honours and masters. Would appreciate your take. Thanks. 🤗

Hey love, studying and working is a great idea as long as you're good with time management. However, if you're looking to teach in Dubai using your qualification then you should consider studying full time. They do not accept online/ distance qualifications.

Ow cool so you're looking at 4600 for take outs and about same amount for groceries. Would you say you spend similar on both the whole month? Or what's the average combined? Say monthly - what would be average cost in total for groceries, se take outs and probably being out a few times (for you, I know it can vary but just to have an idea)

I spend 200 bux on unlimited data a mont...public transport is incredible here. I just assumed all forst world countries flourish like this... The only down side of SK is that i only get 10 days school holidays.😢
