My near death experience: I was at work one day and was cleaning a stain off of a wall. It wasn’t coming off, so I added Clorox to the Spitfire soap that I was already using. And as you know is really dangerous. When all of a sudden, my entire left side started to go numb. Luckily, I’m trained in First Aid and took a short break, as if I had stayed for even 10 seconds more, I would have had a heart attack and died because of Ammonia. Lesson: don’t mix more than one cleaner in the same container without proper protection.

A week after my 5th birthday I was diagnosed with KD (Kawasaki disease) it spread to my heart and they couldn't find a cure "till the last hour". As an LDS member I got many blessings and stuff like that. Now I go and visit children who like me are currently fighting KD. This December 15th it will have been 8 years of me being healthy and KD free!

My near death experience: It was the summer of 2015 when we were fishing on a lake. I got up onto a log to get a better spot. I fell and straddled the log. There was a stick poking out of the log and it stabbed my leg. The wound was about 3 inches deep. I was rushed To the Emergency room. I had to get 8 stitches. We then found out that where the stick stabbed me was less than an inch away from my main artery. If it had hit the Main artery I would of bled out and died.

I had a near death experience once. as a baby. when I was born, my throat had something in it a few months/weeks later, I stopped eating because of this thing the next day, I started to CHOKE on this thing and started turning blue. lucky for me, we lived down and across the street from a doctor. my dad RAN me down to the doctors, and the doctor wasn't there he called them, saying that I was choking, and a few moments later the doctor came, turning around the corner so fast his TRUCK TILTED TO HIS LEFT WHEELS ONLY. he came in, and got the thing out. it turned out to be mucus or something. a story from my parents :)

Dude that’s scary!! Thank God you lived so close to a doctor. When I was an infant I managed to get ahold of one of those window cling sticker things (somehow, I don’t remember how my parents said) and it got stuck in the back of my throat. They had to call for help in the middle of church because I almost choked on it. But thank God for EMTs/paramedics!

And the book is about whether these predictions were right, and what it says about who we are and who we'll become and it's so so so good. Once I was climbing this three story pine tree. When I got to the top it was really cool and the wind would make the top sway and stuff! Anyway, I didn't want to climb ALL THE WAY back down, so I decided to jump off this three story pine. I figured that the branches would break my fall. So I climbed down a little, to these two strong branches and was about to jump when I realized, "Wait a minute, I'm gonna kill myself!" So I swung back the the other branch, and while I was swinging something went wrong and I fell the whole three story drop down. I was right to some extent, the branches did break my fall enough so I survived with no broken bones!

An elliptical machine fell on me when I was five. Long story. 😅 I also climbed the pine tree in my front yard, I went to the tippy top and it was swaying. The neighbors got concerned and told my mom about it. I was so little when this happened, and I love to climbing. My mom told me "I'm just so surprised, because there are spiders in the trees." I never climbed that tree again. 😂

My near death experience is I almost drowned twice. The first time was when I was little and I slipped into the pool very quietly. The life guards did not see me. Lucky my mom did. She saved me. The second time was when I was trying a trick in the deep end and messed up. I freaked out and started drowning. I was barely able to say help before I went under. My mom saved me again.

There was this one time. I was crossing this crosswalk on a 2 lane road (one of those crosswalks that don't have any traffic lights to stop cars). So, i waited at the edge, and one nice car stopped. Oh and there's this strictly enforced law saying "if a any vehicle stops *OR* slows down in any lane at any time at or before a crosswalk all vehicles must slow down and stop in all lanes in all directions." and for a good reason! Because, when he stopped and i began to cross into the 2nd lane, there was this pickup truck going who knows how fast 2 feet away from me. So if he had hit me i would certainly be dead.

I’ve almost drowned in a pool on multiple occasions, like one time I was using goggles from the dollar store in Columbus and I decided to dive in the deep end but when my face hit the water my goggles broke and water got in my eyes so I couldn’t see, now I’m not a good swimmer already I normally swim underwater so when I got to the surface I kept trying to rub the water out of my eyes only to sink back into the pool over and over, I finally managed to swim to the edge of the pool and take control of the situation, but the thought of, “OH MY GOD, I ALMOST DIED,” is pretty unsettling to think about but in the end I got out safely and went back to my hotel room and ate a box of cookies on a bed while watching T.V.
