Advi was a happy, typical child who met all her developmental milestones on time. She would often call out to her mother, saying “mummy, mummy.” But after turning 2, things started to change. She gradually stopped responding to her name and no longer called her mother as much. Her parents raised concerns with her pediatrician, but they were told not to worry.
When COVID struck, and the mother fell ill, their concerns deepened. By then, Advi was 2.5 years old, and the family knew something was wrong. After months of uncertainty and no clear answers from doctors, her mother decided to take matters into her own hands. In September 2022, they found a developmental pediatrician, and in October, they received a diagnosis indicating early signs of autism.
This news was heartbreaking for the family, causing many sleepless nights. Despite the emotional toll, Advi's parents were determined to do everything they could to help their daughter. Her father remained a pillar of strength, and together, they started therapy in November.
At first, the therapy sessions were difficult, and Advi cried every day. It became clear that she was too young and that happiness and comfort were just as important as any formal treatment. The family shifted their focus, creating a joyful environment for her at home, which led to significant progress.
This story is a heartfelt journey of a family learning to navigate the world of autism, showing that happiness is key to helping a child thrive.

Agree it has become a business. May be some have good intentions but most of them are not worth the efforts and money. Parents keep changing therapists but it's the biggest challenge to find a right guiding person.
