Old film guy here, did hundreds of weddings back in the 80's and early 90's, lived in Denver so had to mix wedding and landscape photography on many of the weddings I shot. Knowing your film type is key, I used Vericolor 120 (over exposed 1/2 stop) so mastering a film type is (I think) super important in Film Photography. Believe me being a film guy helped me so much when I started shooting digital. Nice video !!

You guys make it sound like it was intentionally done. He just happened to gravitate to these people’s work. If you’ve followed Peter long enough, he doesn’t care who takes the photo, but only their process, their passion, and the true art behind it. A boy, a girl, a trans, a gay, however they identify. It doesn’t matter to Peter. He merely appreciates art, regardless of who takes it and maybe he just happened to gravitate to these people ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You might like a Canadian photographer named Christine Fitzgerald. Years ago on Canada's 150th - I discovered her work when I applied to join a ship journey (came close, but missed the final cut) - her work is mind-blowing and I honestly think it will amaze you. Disclaimer: I am not responsible for any obsession with new photographic methods caused when/if you see this work. It's pretty "next-level" photography and it's analog at it's apex (imho). If you start getting into this - it's not my fault.

Kodak Gold was the standard when I started seriously becoming a photog in 1978. 200, 400, 800 and 1200 (when shooting long range action or sports.) I had 100s of rolls of 200 & 400 - 24exp. film in my bag at any one time. I had a dedicated film bag because I shot so much. Some rolls took weeks or months to shoot, unless it was for a client shoot. You shot with purpose because you didn’t have $$ to just shoot willy-nilly. And you didn’t have the option of deleting photos that didn’t turn out quite right like with digital. Film Photogs were true artists, unlike digital creators. We didn’t have editing software to correct mistakes.

Talking of film "Kodachrome 25" Omg. I was using this back in the 80s to make stereo 3d photos on 2 Canon A1s. "Did anyone else ever do this?“ To view them I converted a veiwmaster to take slide film. Looking back at them is incredible, like I'm actually there! Total nerd stuff, loved it... Finally getting back into it, forgot how much I loved cameras. Anyway, glad I found your channel, love it!

I'm going to get super real for a second so i apologize in advance. My job lately has been a living hell for a variety of reasons but pausing for 15 minutes and 28 seconds to give this video a bit of my time during the day was worth every second. I don't love what I do, it's a stepping stone to bigger and better things down the road but I do love my youtube channel and the joy it brings me. Seeing a video like this always reminds me that even when life or a job can get crazy you have to remind yourself it's not the end all be all. Theres always other opportunities out there and even if you're in a rough place today, doesn't mean you will be tomorrow. these artiest were able to take the thing they love and turn it into a life well lived.
