I actually disagree with the Pyro take. The appeal of Pyro is the dissonance of Pyro acting serious and menacing while in reality is being silly and wacky. That’s what makes Pyro fun. Wacky stuff that ends up being serious and deadly.

That's a fair take and it's definitely seen in the "Meet the Pyro" trailer. Honestly, I'm so used to people using pyrovision and goofy cosmetics in-game that I glossed over that crucial detail in my mind. I would still give Pyro a B tier with this in mind, but I might bump them up above Engie.
