Thank you so much to the WTA and Paula Badosa for speaking out publicly on the issue of mental health. So proud of Paula and all the other players on tour.

The sad thing about professional athletics is the burden felt by players to perform at unrealistic levels that fans and the media come to expect. Glad to see Paula is smart in getting mental health support. Paula is truly generous in sharing her experience and vulnerability in an honest and sincere way. I am a fan of her game and a bigger fan of character.

As a mental health care professional, I love Paula's willingness to be honest on the subject. I have come to respect her on the court and I cheer for her when I see a live match. I would love to be in the stands and see her play. Now, especially, coming off the San Diego match, and the WTA having her do this piece I respect her even more. I like how casually and candid she offers herself here. Thank you, WTA. Thank you Ms. Badosa. Much love!

Good chat. I wish Badosa the best in her self care journey and her tennis career. Everyone; no matter their gender, age, ethnicity, title, financial bracket, etc have issues they have to deal with. Some people ignore it, some manage it better than others and some people seek out solutions. At least Badosa took the steps to find solutions, get therapy and have a daily routine.

Hard to believe that someone could not like her. But people are strange... Didn't know about her issues, since recently became her big fan. Good and bad sides, we all have them. Sucha shame she won't be playing at AO 2023. Nole fan here, best wishes and quick recovery. Very lovely character 💚

Paula, you need to start ignoring what other people say cuz no matter what you do whether it is good or bad, people will talk. Just focus on what you need to do and only pay attention to what your coaches and people close to you are saying, not listening to people who are behind the screen making nasty comments.

MILLONES DE BESOS GUERRERA, HERMOSA Y VALIENTE Y TENISTA EN SU TIEMPO LIBRE.... jajajajajajajaja

Life hard. No matter who you are and what you do. Most people have to deal with life on their own. It would be nice if there were a method or methods available to help average people cope with life's difficulties without having to hire a therapist to help them get through life's tougher moments, and I'm not talking about suicide prevention (although that's important, of course). I'm talking about the struggles of regular day-to-day life. Are such resources out there, because it seems really needed?

Unfortunately Paula is on straight way to go out of top 10. If she won't go deep in Guadalajara, she won't qualify to WTA Finals, so she will lose 625 points. And that means she'll be out of top 15.
