There are games from 10 years that don't look outdated today. Tech moves at a steep angle and what we see today will just get smaller details and will be harder to differentiate from newer tech. Very doubtful this will look outdated in 10 years.

What's crazy is it actually looks better than this when you're playing it. You can see the KZbin compression on this video blurring it slightly, even at 4K. Also a tip, you can toggle night mode on at the yellow markers on the map. It looks just as crazy (if not more) at night.

@@ogstea1th477 not the best but there are a couple 1000 different drivable vehicles. They don't seem to differ much in how they drive. What is cool is pretty much no one crash is the same- damage is reflected differently depending on speed or the vehicle and it looks different

You are right Trevor. It is the minor minor details that make the difference. To be honest, in a Matrix game it is quite probable that a character would end up standing at the top of a skyscraper, but the variety in room styles is rare in game titles. Maybe game developers finally understand that people get easily bored when parking lots or housing developments look like they have been randomly generated instead of intricately placed. Looking at this tech demo, the game looks like what Cyberpunk77 should have been. Also, some of the sanctioned elite sports games have been releasing game versions with updated character and environmental models with very little changes beyond interactive changes. I can see an independent developer using game engines like Unreal 5, creating a moderate development team and making a sports game so graphically intricate with superior alternate camera features that would force the established sports game developers to build their games on the modern engines.

I noticed that some of the parts were actually filmed and they very slowly transitioned to character models, then back and forth in the beginning before the car scene. Smart way to play with your head. The character models are as close to real as you can get though I’ll give them that. Just look in the eyes and you’ll be able to tell what’s film and what’s animated. Can’t wait to get my next gen
