1. No cheats just using debug mode to enable slomo 2. Either you use slomo or don't the physics are still the same. 3. They are in every Hitman game even in the latest ones. 4. I'm not complaining, this is my favorite game, actually the first 3 games are my all time favorite. Go figure.

@@IrrationalGamer which other 2002 game had ragdoll physics? I only know about Hitman 2: SA. In fact Hitman: C47 was the first game ever to use ragdoll physics. All other games had animations. And by the way, you need to limit FPS to 60 in the old Hitman games.

I played the original back in the days and IIRC reducing game speed like this caused objects to be considered "not moving" any more in mid air. You could also fire the machine gun at the drug lord so fast in slow-mo, that his entire body was covered in blood decals before he could tell you to say "hello to his little friend" 🤣

Your game is running in slow motion because you need to cap the fps to 30 for the game to work perfectly.

No, you do not have to play at 30 FPS, you can play at 60 FPS.

@@hiddenone8436 with RivaTuner, that is the only method that works for me for both Hitman 2 and Contracts. Limiting FPS through the NVIDIA Control Panel does nothing for me.

Lol just reading these comments I can tell who originally played this when it came out on ps2.. the reason some people don’t see a problem with it cause it’s always been that way since it came out… originally the game wasn’t just shooting everyone on sight.. it was about being stealth and killing your target without anyone noticing

This stuff happens in Hitman 3 where I shot a guard and his body defied the laws of gravity and flipped up into the ceiling spinning around for 2 minutes before he went up and disappeared from the map while he was still alive.

I remember being around 15 or 16 when i first played this game, my school uniform was essentially a black suit with a green tie. I walked around leaning my head to the side constantly until I got nasty cramps. Couple of people at school asked me if I'm a spastic and to be honest, I don't really blame them. It did look quite silly.

Codename 47 had better ragdolls, fun fact if you settimemultiplier < 1 they could end in really good poses, due to ending calculations of physics, after some time. Contracts had feature, that allows corpses lie in pre-animated poses if you using machineguns. And I hate one thing about ragdolls in new ones, they spoiled sniper kill ragdoll physics to make able hiding bodies, but if I recall correctly Absolution had nice ones for sniper.

The problem is high FPS. And lots of things in the game coded based on FPS rates. Modern computers are way to good to play this game.

Blood Money has great levels and atmosphere but animations are kinda "stiff" and shooting sucks, Absolution is really good action game but falls short as a hitman game due to linear scripted levels (shooting is great though), and although i have respect for new trillogy, i don't like them - all 47 does there is makes silly accidents, and shooting is worst in the series (like they forgot he is a clone killing machine). Also new trillogy lost me on atmosphere - it lost it's darkness, and 47 doesn't feel anymore like a bad guy - and he was kinda a bad guy so far, we loved him but apart few occasions he was a killer that did not felt any remorse.

Man one of the things that I cant stand is how slow the bullets travel in this game. Used to play a bunch as a kid but tried it recently and wow. Great game, some of the clunk takes getting used to.

You might be surprised how (relatively) slow moving .45 ACP is in real life. Watch a video of shooting steel targets with 45 and listen to how long it takes to hear the ring compared to 9 and 357.

Just downloaded hitman 2 with all the hitman 2016 missions. And boy it reminded me of the og silent assassin and father vittorio and all those ioi cheats. My first hitman game. I don't know what to expect from the trilogy but ik it won't be as special as hitman 2 and hitman 4

Its an old game, it runs slowly are the two possible problems I could see. One isn't a problem it's just games age because they didn't have the technology we have today and two can be fixed by adjusting settings or even downloading a performance mod

Never had any of these "problems" whatever they are, not quite sure what's being hinted at here. What I do feel is a shame is that in FPS mode all the handguns are too small or 47:s hands are way too big. Other than that and some over-sensitive ai it's really an amazing game, not to mention amazing soundtrack as always with mr Kyd. Denmark's Harry Gregson Williams.

There's probably some ini file you can edit to fix the gravity problem but that's a LOT of googling to troubleshoot it

It's not just about gravity, it's about AI falling animations / death animations and they are still the same in latest Hitman games.

@@IrrationalGamer But this isn't how it normally looks to play sa anyway- the pc port has a lot of bugs caused by conflicts with modern hardware and they don't update it for compatibility. It'd probably be a lot more playable if you ran the gc port on an emulator
