I love boxing, been boxing since I was 8, I’m 24 this is year and I stopped watching boxing until I watched ben whittaker at the national championships and followed him until today. He’s made me excited to watch boxing again!

These kind of fighters come once every 25 year's. What they should do is look back at the last generation and take advantage how they rose up. Ben, with social media and knowledge could set the knew level if he does everything right. He needs the best coaching and the best social media people around him now to elevate him into a new level. Make people watch you fight is the key. So many boxer's dont get this when they have raw talent.

We need more boxers with entertaining boxing styles, if we have any more shoulder role Haney and shakur style boxers increase the sport will actually die out. Ben Whittaker is what boxing casuals need currently to make it more entertaining and fun to watch.

Loved watching Prince Naseem and the outrageous showboating but as with all flash guys, they eventually come up against their kryptonite. Barrera rinsed him and he never recovered. Broner was broken by Maidana. It even happened to Ali with Norton and Spinks. I do agree though that his style, massively increases his profile and earning capacity. As TG alluded to, of the people watching, 50% will want you to win, while the other 50% are just praying you get your arse handed to you.
