Diet and Zero is almost the same : They use both sweeteners which are very similar to each other instead of using sugar, the real reason to create two 'sugarless' drinks is marketing and not because they wanted to create two sugarless soft drinks

Excellent Video! Sorry for butting in, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you heard about - Dinanlinson Shrinking Body Approach (just google it)? They do, diet cokes recipe is very similar to 'new coke' from the 80s. Coke zero is pretty much same recipe as classic coke, just without sugar

@@Sean2884 someone else: is technically right you: "ARE YOU FUCKING BRAINDEAD?" coke zero does in fact have calories. around 0.2 per 100ml. it is labelled as such in many nations outside the us and you can search it up. (mostly due to aspartame which inherently does have a small amount of calories.)

I really hope they don't stop making diet coke. Some people prefer diet coke because a lighter taste ensures people won't start craving sugary food. As for regular coke; that stuff contains a lot of calories right? And if you were exercising or working out then calories are what you would need. So regular coke isn't useless either

@@krishna.panhale Yes, coke zero does have much fewer calories than coca cola as well as no sugar. But it shouldn't be used for weight loss if that's what you're after. It may not make you gain weight but it can have other detrimental effects to your body. If you want to be healthy? Just drink plain water. Thank me later

I think they both have aspartame and that’s no good for me. I wish they would just keep the regular formula and cut the sugar content from 39 grams in a 12oz. can to something like 15 grams, maybe lower. I’d rather consume a little sugar than drink anything with gross artificial sweeteners. I’m more of a seltzer water drinker anyway.

Coke Zero has taken an interesting marketing twist in the last few years. Here in the UK, it's basically packaged as the flagship original with only a black band around the top of the label to indicate that it's the sugar free variant. Although I doubt that they'll ever drop the full sugar Coke, it do think Zero is set to take the lead as Coke's flagship product.

I sometimes drink diet coke when I want to relax. Yes, nothing beats the original taste of coca cola but diet coke has a lighter taste. And there are times when a lighter taste is just what I need. Not that I drink any coke variant often. Just because diet coke/coke zero has no sugar or calories, doesn't mean it's good for you. I hope you all know this!

Here in Germany they have given up the coke life. A few years ago it started to dissappear from the supermarkets in my town. Maybe you can still get it in really big supermarkets, but I haven't seen it in a while now. I've tried it and I didn't like the taste of it back then. 🤷‍♂️
