@SA-df3uk I will not rush to declare that Prophet Muhammad is in the holding site of destruction. Of course I will still be blunt, but blunt is NOT in anger and I would have respectfully ackowledged that people REALLY believe their understanding, NOT pretending. Of course I would have been mature enough to joke about arguments, and keep people amused and wanting to find out more.

I used to be put off by D’s “harshness” and thought it was unchristian-like. Until I listened to Muslims, realized that they perceive meekness as weakness regardless of how logical your argument is, that they prize agression and arrogance regardless of how empty your argument is. Then I took a deep dive into D’s content and realized that beyond mocking and ridiculing them on occasion, he is very well educated on Islam-oriented apologetics and is doing a great job educating both Christians and Muslims alike on the religion of pieces. I love the work he does and pray that God continues to use him to reach Muslims. God bless you Dr Wood, all the way from Botswana

I dont understand how they look at aggression rather than the logical argument that is presented Which is dumb in my opinion Because if your angry does that mean your right automatically? Beig meek itself is not a bad thing Mathew 5:5 "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth" In any case i understand sometimes you need to be more aggressive and harsh in your approach. I will try to do that more

@@dude9318There is a reason why Jesus showed the other side at times. Sometimes meekness doesn't work. Imagine being in Germany in the 30s, people subscribing to that philosophy: when people go a similar direction as with Islam, they need to be awakened in a whole different fashion. What motivated me was the names and faces of women and children who are no longer with us as a result of those living by Mo's teaching and example. God bless. 🌞

Nobody respect weakness Look at what the west did to Iraq compared what Russia is doing yet the west are scared because Russia more powerful even though they are more of a threat But in debates respect is important, David, sam, CP created a new culture of insults and disrespect which is not healthy for religious discourse, believing a religion not true is one thing but spreading hatred which lead to hate crimes is not healthy approach Muslims approach of Christianity is more academic and intellectual where they focus on theology and salvation even though the bible filled with violance more than any scripture but you dont see muslims take the emotional approach, the easiet religion to attack emotionally is Christianity On the other hand, Christian missionaries never discuss foundational issues but rather attack the prophet personally and his wives which shows who is desperate

I had read Nabeel's book before David had publicly shared his testimony. I was floored. I thought, "This can't be the same David Wood." The more I dug into it, the more convinced I was that this must be the same person. But I still had some questions because Nabeel's mother's first impression of David was extremely positive, and she was happy for him to be Nabeel's friend. I was following Nabeel on Facebook shortly after this, and he said that he was planning to do a second edition of his book. He asked if we had any suggestions of things to address that weren't addressed in the original book. My reply was to address more of David's background and how he came to find out about that. Nabeel actually responded to me and set but he found out David's backstory pretty early on, but he left it out of his book because David hadn't yet gone public with his testimony, and it was David's story to tell.

@@0786AHA there are also Christians who stay away from those sins. if you are hoping to get into heaven with your own good deeds, think twice. it is not by our own deeds and self-righetousness that we get in, not only by asking for forgiveness neither. God is the most perfect standard and when we sin, no matter what we do will get that sin off our soul. only in Jesus Christ are we truly sinless again. When God looks at a spiritually-new-born-again Christian, not a cultural one by name or lineage, a true Christian who follows Jesus Christ becomes as sinless as Christ in the Spirit. i know this is a lot to take in and difficult to understand, i was once in that situation too. i advise you to pray to God to guide you and help you understand this because this is the most important decision of your life, its about your soul for the rest of eternity. I think I'm similar in that I don't like the "nice" talk. Which was why when WLC brought up how he tries to make Christianity as palatable as possible that I voiced my issue with that. Because from my perspective, I saw that as a form of manipulation. I don't think making it palatable should be an aim. Rather the goal is to try to communicate effectively and let them choose. Which will occasionally require that we get down to what we mean on some things. Which makes the conversation longer at times.

Truth is now sweet nor complies with feelings nor does care about them!Truth most of the times is harsh.They did not like Christ simply because they were so comforted in their sins and blinded by them,when Christ exposed the sins and not only the sins but the sinners too they killed Him.Truth is not what we want but its what we need in our lives because Truth sets us free and in the end if we open our hearts and minds to the Truth we find comfort,forgiveness and mercy.Stay truthfull to The True God as He is to us.God bless us all and God have mercy for us all no matter what "religion" we belong in.

@@lacucuracha6 "... Truth is not what we want but it's what we need in our lives...." 100% agree with you ✅ ❤️ The thing is, most people don't really want to correct their false ways. Messiah Jesus described those type of people who don't really want to correct their false ways: 👉" seeing they see not". You won't like what you'll witness but truth remains the truth whether or not you like it. The religious historian and philosopher Han-Joachim Schoeps says: “Here is a paradox of world-historical proportions: Jewish Christianity indeed disappeared within the Christian church, but was PRESERVED in I-s-l-a-m.” (Caps mine) ****************** 👉 Backed up by the preaching and practice of Jesus of the Bible. ****************** "There is CONSENSUS among biblical scholars that Jesus, to all historical probability, did NOT consider himself as the incarnation of the second person of a Trinitarian God. NOWHERE did Jesus teach a Trinitarian doctrine. As one would expect from a pious Jewish rabbi, he believed in ONE GOD and strictly REFUSED to be equated with God. Yes, but if someone's defending an abhorrent idea/religion, soft words won't be appropriate. John the Baptist and Jesus didn't use soft words against the pharisees. This is a religion that relies on chest thumping, because Mohammad is clearly a false prophet. In order for people that have been conditioned to this to listen, you have to shatter their false sense of confidence. Tell me how are you going to do that with soft words.

David’s explanation makes so much sense! I live in Arabic neighborhood and Arabs can easily be perceived as loud (or even aggressive) to our North American culture, but really they are just more exuberant and expressive in general. It’s a cultural difference and it’s good for us to be aware of this difference if we want to ever talk about the Gospel with them.

Last year I started to get interested in Islam and read more and more, but I decided that I would read the Bible and Christian history at the same time, the Christian superiority was noticeable, and the evil was noticeable in the islamic scriptures, And by chance David's videos started to appear and only corroborated what was already obvious to me, this is a religion that preaches everything except love and compassion and comforting hearts. So I finally returned to Christ, Christ is King lads! ✝️🙏🏻

This honestly makes so much sense from a cultural perspective. The same way Christian’s vindicate Jesus and the apostles word through their submission and willingness to endure suffering for their beliefs is contrasted by Muslim’s validation of Muhammad and his diciples through their willingness to kill and die for their beliefs.
@John-fk2ky
@John-fk2ky 2 күн бұрын
Not quite. That comes from their teachings, not necessarily from the culture. Of course, the two interact, but had Arabs been converted to Christianity en masse, they would likely still see a critical part of winning an argument being confident and loud/passionate. You might have noticed that Jesus spoke in a similar manner at times, harsh and blunt (not to mention clearing the Temple), while at other times taking a different approach. Paul, interacting the most with the culture that most influenced the modern West, used pure rational argumentation the most often, though if you learn more about the culture you’ll see other styles as well. My point is that there are other ways to present Christianity even in the Bible than how the West does things.

Don't criticise David; just listen to the testimonies of ex-Muslims. David created a lot of champions for Christianity and fighters against Islam. He pulled Nabeel into the faith, who in his turn with his book, converted many Muslims. David led Adam Seeker out of Islam through blasting away at the false prophet. Now Adam is a popular Urdu KZbinr who educates Muslims on falsehood of Islam.

I love the arm chair evangelist... The ones that never share their own faith to non-believers... Always complain how someone like David Woods is doing it.. All the while never themselves... People really should take in account what they are saying. I found when street witnessing i would get the most scathing comments from others in my church and again they would never offend anyone (i.e. because they would never preach Christ...) Then again i wonder about people who are so disobedient to Christ... He commanded us to go and share, yet in the modern evangelical church in the U.S., the stats vary but only 2% or 6% of people who claim to be a Christian have ever shared their faith once... Then again Christ was clear, if you are ashamed to confess be before others, i will be ashamed to confess you before My Father... People who claim to be Christian.... If you don't share shut up and keep you comments to yourself. Love seeing David in any manor getting out there and doing the Lord's work (Eph 2:10) 😊
